I'd looked at reviews online before I booked and Highfield lived up to our expectations. Our room was lovely and very clean. There was a good choice at breakfast and Maggie, Gordon and Kate were all very friendly and helpful. It's easy to get into the city centre by bus. There are a few nice places to eat nearby, if...

I stayed for a few nights whilst at the Kings Buildings site. The location was great, and there is also easy access to the centre of town (numerous buses). B&B was excellent, really nice breakfast, lovely clean room and Maggie and Gordon were really hospitable. Plus points for free WiFi too!

Guest house a bit further from the center of town than I expected, but I was met by gracious hostess Kate who showed me to my lovely room and then set me up with full details about how to get around by bus and what attractions not to miss. Her advice to book ahead for the Real Mary King close...

I stayed at Highfield Guest House for 3 nights and it was very enjoyable. I did not get to meet Gordon but Maggie and Kate were really friendly, helpful and made me feel at home right away.
