I stayed one night for business during the week. The rooms are clean, comfortable and very well furnished. The free wifi was very handy for working. I had to leave very early the next day and although breakfast for the rest of the guests was served at 8am, a cold breakfast package was prepared for me to take on my... More

Maggie and Gordon immediately make you feel at home upon arrival in Edinburgh. The Highfield Guest House is a warm and welcoming guest house with a good price and quality. Close to the Holyrood Park and well-reachable by bus from the city centre.

I stayed for a few nights whilst at the Kings Buildings site. The location was great, and there is also easy access to the centre of town (numerous buses). B&B was excellent, really nice breakfast, lovely clean room and Maggie and Gordon were really hospitable. Plus points for free WiFi too!

Guest house a bit further from the center of town than I expected, but I was met by gracious hostess Kate who showed me to my lovely room and then set me up with full details about how to get around by bus and what attractions not to miss. Her advice to book ahead for the Real Mary King close... More

The room was spacious, warm and extremely clean and tidy. The Guest House itself is in a great location, a mere 10 minute walk from Arthur's Seat,... More
