This hotel was spotless throughout. I was very impressed to be checked in and allocated a room well before official check in time.
I have read the reviews of others with some amusement, so let me be clear. This is a budget hotel, but it...More
This hotel is a mixed blessing. For cleanliness, location, friendly staff, and aesthetics, it can't be faulted: it is lovely, sleek and smart. But the rooms are simply too small to be workable (to change clothes or pack or unpack, one person had to leave...More
Great room generous sized and quiet. Fabulous location for station and public transport.
Easy access for my husband who has some walking difficulties. Bathroom very user friendly for all.
Fantastic to have reasonably priced bar and restaurant on site. Very helpful staff.
Location and value for money was great! Across road from train, tram and bus. Bed very uncomfortable, mattress needs replacing. Room was quite small but had good bathroom and awesome internet. Free mobile phone to use with room. Reception made coffee which came in handy!

Hotel was modern, clean, staff very helpful. We were told it was basic and were pleasantly surprised. Our package included internet, towels etc. Location great for airport (tram) and for seeing all the sights

Prevailing winds meant that most cities that grew in industrial Britain had their most desirable neighbourhoods to the west – upwind of factory fumes. Edinburgh was no exception, with its wealthiest citizens settling in its West End and leaving behind grand Georgian townhouses, private gardens and genteel crescents. These backstreets remain as dignified and sleepy as ever, and most of the action here lies along
the district’s busy main roads. Lothian Road connects to southern Edinburgh and harbors a vague entertainment district: three theatres and the city’s main indie cinema. All attract a select crowd, the sort who appreciate the Saturday Edinburgh’s Farmers’ Market around the corner. The West End’s other great thoroughfare, Shandwick Place, is dominated by trams trundling out to the suburbs and airport, and shoppers picking up last-minute items before hopping aboard.
