We chose Craigmoss because it was dog friendly and had good reviews by other guests on Trip Advisor. We wanted to find somewhere that was fairly close to Edinburgh city centre that was also good value. We were delighted with our choice. The owners gave us a great warm welcome, our room was immaculate and had everything that we needed....

I have just come back from a weekend at Craigmoss with my wife. It is very clean warm and comfortable and in a quiet side street. The breakfast is lovely and the host very welcoming. The bus stop on the other side take you into the centre of town and runs every 15mins. A day ticket cost £3.50 and can...

Welcoming hosts, good amenities, nice decor, spotlessly clean, great breakfast, good location, free wifi, desk to work at, plenty of free tea and coffee,15-20 mins stroll to city centre and very good value. Highly recommended!

My wife and I stayed here in the midst of a three-country tour of Europe. The only negative I'll mention is the lack of an elevator to the upper floors. This, however, is something that often is the case with B&B's so those of us who frequent them simply roll with the punches. We would gladly stay here again. There...

Very nice and comfortable bead and breakfast, just 15 minutes walk from city center. Unfortunately we just stayed there for a night, we would've definitely like to stay there more time. The room we had was really big, the bathroom was small but pretty comfortable though -enough for a B&B-. Everything clean, carefully organized. The owner and his wife are...

The appartement is well located in a small street. You are near a road with a big choice of pub and restaurant. Downtown could be reach with a moderate walk ( around 20 minutes to Prince Street with children) Concerning the appartement, kitchen is well equiped (including a washing machine for clothes), bed is confortable,. The only disapointment: the bathroom...

The room was very nice and comfortable after a long day of walking. Harry was very accommodating and helpful to us. The house was very quite and peaceful and we had a good night's rest. The breakfast was delicious and there were many choices.

This was our second visit to the Craigmoss guest house. Once again, the accommodations were comfortable and homey, and the location is so convenient. We had a scheduling mix-up, and Isabelle was so helpful in getting everything sorted out. A great rest, wonderful breakfast, good location and terrific people - we'll certainly be back!

This guest house is a bit of a trip from the center of Edinburgh. It is on a road with significant road noise. Another reviewer mentions the bus station in front. It was quite warm when we stayed and the open window let the noise and smell of the bus an other traffic into the room. The bed was comfortable,...

The guests were in the room they booked which has a private bathroom outside the room which is explained in the room description. They would have been attracted to this room because it would have been cheaper and I am surprised they said it was tiny, I am not sure what their experience of guest houses is but it is...

This was our first and probably last ever stay in a B&B. The room was very very very (I am writing very 3 times to reiterate how small the room was when 4 beds are cramped in a room). With 4 beds in the room there was absolutely no space to move - we literally had less than a foot...

I am sorry you did not like your room but you were 4 adults with a lot of luggage and you booked a family room which is for two adults and two children. Of course the price you paid was significantly cheaper that booking two double or two twin rooms which you would know. You also chose to come in...
