We spent 3 nights here in a family room and were very comfortable. Our room was on the top floor with a fabulous view of Edinburgh Castle. The bed was comfy and the room was very clean, if a little shabby and tatty (cracked tiles in the bathroom, very chipped bathroom sink, worn carpet). The facilities were excellent. We used...

Have just returned from a two night stay and would love to be able to give this review 5 stars but instead I'll give you the pros and cons and hope you understand our rating. Pros: Positioning as often stated is amazing, easy to find, parking no problem, buses right outside. We had a road facing room but, because the...

Probably the best Holiday Inn I've stayed in. Went up to Edinburgh see some friends and to go travelling up into the highlands. The airport bus stops right in front of the hotel and it takes 10 minutes. You cannot miss the stop. Bit of an uphill treck to get to the entrance though if you have alot of luggage....

This is in a prime location for Edinburgh Zoo, its right next door. The hotel has plenty of free parking and the restaurant and cafe areas were very welcoming. Our a/c wasn't working but after reporting it to Reception it was fixed by the time we came back to the room. The room was good, although the bathroom was minuscule, it...

Great location slap bang next door to Edinburgh Zoo with parking. Large busy hotel. We enjoyed an overnight stop. Offered a slot to use swimming pool which gets busy at holiday times - 7am. Thought it was daft but with a 4 yr old the pre breakfast dip turned out to be perfect. Breakfast was busy and all self serve...

We have stayed here quite a few times but feel that after the last visit the hotel has done downhill somewhat. The room was very small, shabby and dirty and the entire hotel looks in urgent need of updating.. The breakfast items were cold and dried out and the pancake machines were missing. Most of the plates and cutlery was...

Me and my family arrived on the Friday evening intending to only stay until the Sunday evening but decided at the last minute to add another night onto our trip. We priced it on the taxi to the hotel and it came in at £66 so when we asked at reception they said it would cost £120. They also said...
