When I read about Bell's Brae, I knew we had to stay there on our trip. It sounded so romantic and charming. And it was! As we walked down the cobblestone road to get there, we felt like we had gone back in time. Stephanie...More

Thank you so much for your lovely review. We really appreciate your time and trouble to write it. Come and see us again soon. Very best regards Stewart

First and foremost this is not your typical B&B. It is more like being a guest in a friends home. There is only one comfortable room with a babbling brook just outside your small balcony. You are made to feel at home the minute you...More

We love historical special places to stay and Bell's Brae is amazing. IT is a 16th century mill house- just one gorgeous room with a view of the Leith waters..... up a winding stone staircase. The bed was extremely comfortable with great sheets! Fresh shortbread...More

My sister and I are taking the plunge and joining a tour group to view the 2015 Chelsea Flower Show (among other things) We are from Auckland, New Zealand, and would be leaving about 7th May as the tour starts in Amsterdam on the 9th. We plan to stay a further 2 to 3 of weeks after the tour to visit Scotland prior to returning to London and home. Am already compiling a "dossier" on Scotland and Edinburgh, particularly, including info on accommodation. The picture of this B & B looked very attractive and I have been encouraged by the reviews. However, I am not able to access prices for staying there.Would appreciate current information on cost per night...are twin share bedrooms available? Is a deposit required in advance and all that sort of information! Many thanks.
