Stayed in flat 3 for a weekend. Couldn't fault it in anyway. Beautiful decor, very welcoming with a biscuit left on each bed. Very comfortable for 5 adults. Would highly recommend and will look to stay here again on future visits to Edinburgh.

Had an absolutely amazing three nights stay in this beautiful elegant apartment. We often visit the City usually staying in a hotel but this apartment was much more comfortable (home from home). Definitely recommend staying here. Hopefully we will be back in the future.

The flat is located footsteps away from Princes Street, and Waverley Train Station walking distance... so either if you rather train, tram, bus or taxi, all easy access! Royal Mile is a couple of blocks away. So walking distance too to Edinburgh Castle, Grass & Hay Market. There is an italian restaurant (Bella Italia)...

We stayed in the third floor flat the second week of June 2015, it was perfect. We couldn't have asked for anything more. The location is right in the middle of town yet quiet, the apartment was immaculate. We were able to walk to anything in town including the train station. When we arrived a bottle of champagne greeted us....

Everything at the flat was wonderful. The rooms were very nice, impeccably clean, and really spacious. The kitchen was great and well equipped - we even arrived to a tin of shortbread waiting for us! The bookshelves had every book on Scotland and Edinburgh you could imagine, which turned out to be very helpful for planning activities and excursions. The...

Staying in Princes Street and Gardens

Neighbourhood Profile
Princes Street and Gardens
Glaswegians tease Edinburghers that their High Street is only half one, since buildings only line one side. But what they don’t say is how extraordinary the views are from Princes Street as a result. From here you look onto expansive and decorative public gardens beneath the mighty basalt cliffs on which Edinburgh’s Castle stands proud above the rest of the dramatic old town skyline. Yet many of those on Princes Street look the other way, as they’re concerned with chain store shopping or catching the tram or a train at main train station Waverley. But it’s not all utility here; the Scottish National Gallery rewards purposeless wandering, and December’s huge winter market in the gardens begins a season of revelry which ends with Hogmanay, Britain’s largest New Year’s street party.
