We had a great stay at the Abcorn Guest House. The location is just perfect for a short stay in Edinburgh. There is a bus station right in front of the house from which it will take you approx 10 minutes to go into the city. We never waited more than five minutes for a bus, so you don't really...

We have just returned from Edinburgh having spent 3 nights at the Abcorn guest house. Set in a grand old victorian house, the Abcorn is a lovely place to stay if visiting Edinburgh! You can catch a bus outside and it takes just 10 minutes to the heart of the city! High ceilings and Iow windows, the Abcorn is a...

Arriving at the B&B, in my opinion, it was the prettiest one on the street which almost every single home on that street is a B & B. Upon entering we were greeted by the owner and shown to our room. The room was spacious, over sized window which brightened up the entire room, small bathroom and two beds. Each...

We stayed at the Abcorn family of 6 persons from Israel and it was great. Very comfortable and clean, nice and polite service. There is a bus station next to the guest house and 3 lines that goes to the city center 5 minutes drive. The breakfast is very good.

I really liked this place. The owner is super nice and its well located. We took the city bus to the Royal Mile and it picked us up and dropped us off almost right in front of the house. It was walking distance to a nice pub for a good dinner. Breakfast was fantastic. Only knock is that rooms are...

I had seen good reviews of Abcorn Guest House on Trip Advisor and thought it would fit the bill for a reasonably priced overnight stay on our way north, and to be able to have a look at Edinburgh. It was easy to park, and although we arrived three hours before the booking in time of 3 o'clock, they were...

Stayed two nights here as weed needed two beds. The owners did a great job of making us feel welcomed and were very helpful. The breakfast was very good and I had no problem sleeping on their bed. After a few days there recovering from jet lag we were ready to explore Scotland.

My mom and I stayed two days at the Abcorn Guest House, loved every minute of it. Grand house with early 19th century charm and character. The hosts are just as charming, very accomodating, quick to offer information about the city. There's a bus stop right outside their door to take you directly into the city for cheap cheap. The breakfast...
