The accommodation is situated just outside the City Centre and quite close to Holyrood Park. It takes around 30 minutes to walk into the centre, or there are two bus routes that go there too. The host is friendly enough and was willing to supply information of the local attractions. My room was small but adequate enough to store my...

On arrival and throughout our stay Joanna couldn't have been any nicer, really friendly woman who couldn't do enough for us. Room was clean, and kept clean when we were out. Was a bit sceptical about a shared bathroom but wasn't actually all that bad, The only let down was the breakfast but you can't have it all ways :),...

We stayed here when visiting Edinburgh for a Foo Fighters gig, after finding accomodation in or near the city centre to be fully-booked or way too expensive. Reasonable rate for a reasonable room, shared bathroom. About a 10 minute bus or taxi ride away from the city or a half-hour walk. Owner was very friendly and helpful. Only downside to...

Myself and a friend stayed two nights at this place and it was great, the owner is friendly as and extremely helpful in terms of anything needed at the house and places to visit and see as this was our first time in Edinburgh. The place is kept extremely tidy and has all the facilities needed. Located close enough to...

Stayed for one night while passing through city. Cheap guest house situated about half an hours walk from city centre. Free on-street parking available, but can be difficult to find a space at peak times. Small single bed room w/ tea/coffee facilities, TV and free wifi. Shared bathroom although very clean. Optional breakfast for an additional cost, though competitively priced....

Stayed for 2 nights in the single room where the bed is extremely comfortable, the room and facilities were adequate although there is no window to the outside world, so quite dark. Joanna the proprietor is extremely friendly and welcoming, has a good local knowledge and had made arrangements for me to be met on my arrival. I didn't sample...

A well presented one room with free wifi available (untested as 3G service in the area very good) without ensuite, and continental breakfast (croissants and coffee) listed as £5 extra - which is competitive with Costa. Parking is on-street, but was easily obtained on this occassion (Saturday evening), although the level of on-street parking in the area suggests that it...

Lovely little guest house about 20/30 minutes out centre. Ideal for fringe festival as things happen everywhere. Joanna was a great host and gave us great hints and tips. Shared bathroom not an issue and room was spotless. Would definitely stay again. Thanks Joanna x
