Everything was first class. Ticks all the boxes; the rooms and en suite are excellent and spotlessly clean. Shaun is the perfect host , a lovely man and a good cook too,the breakfast is delicious and cooked for you as you like it. I can't fault the whole weekend that we stayed there.

What a great little find! Lovely room, breakfast and such welcoming hosts. Shaun and Elaine cannot do enough for you. Advice on taxis, buses etc right on hand. £7 taxi into George Hotel, obv more in evening and £1-60pp on the bus which is minutes walk away on the main Queensferry Rd. So easy and convenient for the centre of...

This is our second visit to Edinburgh and we have stayed with Shaun and Elaine both times. We won't stay anywhere else in Edinburgh! Such lovely, friendly hosts who can't do enough to make your stay comfortable. Breakfast was delicious! Great location to either take a stroll into the city or drive 10 mins... Definitely recommend Blinkbonny to everyone!

Such a great b&b, very friendly welcome. Off street parking is very secure, lovely area. I don't think I have ever stayed somewhere so clean. En-suite good size room. Breakfast was beautiful, all cooked to order. About 20min walk to Princess Street. Highly recommend and we will return

We stayed here for 2 nights to visit Edinburgh. We had a very nice, big and clean room. Great shower, good bed. Johnny took very good care of us, real hospitality. And he makes a great breakfast! About the location, it is in a nice neigbourhood, close to a shopping centre, 25 min walk to the centre of Edinburgh. 5...

Blinkbonny was our first stay on our trip, we had a clean and spacious room. The shower was great. We thought we were the only couple there because it was so quiet. But at breakfast found out that it was a full house! The first night we walked right downtown, took about 20 mins. The next day we got a...

We stayed at Blinkbonny House for three nights and chose it for its location, roughly equidistant from Edinburgh City Centre and Murrayfield. It's on a bus route which means getting into the city is easy and cheap, and we walked to Murrayfield. Shaun looked after us really well, and we felt like welcome guests in a family home. The room...

This must be the sweetest little B and B in Scotland. Shaun looked after us very well and was there in the background but never in the way. He made super breakfasts and had the best shower in the country. The weather outside was wet and windy but very cosy inside the house.

A lovely little B&B - spacious, clean and tasteful rooms and one of the best hot showers I've had anywhere! The hosts were fantastic - very friendly, helpful and accommodating, even given our late arrival time. Very homely. Perfect for our extended family weekend trip - I'd definitely recommend it.

“There are only 3 rooms, 1 up and 2 down. The upper room is very large and has a queen and a twin, great if you are traveling with more people or a child but it has a vaulted ceiling which poses a bit of a problem if you are tall. Not a big deal for a couple of nights but if you are staying longer, I'd request a ground floor room.”
