A great B&B with a very friendly and attentive host! I stayed there for two nights with my husband and son and we felt most welcome. We stayed in the family room which was very spacious and comfy. Breakfast was plenty and very good coffee! The area is great, not far from the City centre yet there were lots of... More

My husband and I stayed at this b&b for 4 nights last week for our trip to Edinburgh to celebrate our anniversary. So pleased we picked here! Upon arrival to our very spacious room with the biggest bed (very comfy and soft bedding!!) our room was lovely and a big bathroom with plenty of storage with fresh flowers and tea/coffee... More

Excellent set-up. The room was a good size, warm, well lit, very comfortable and clean. (The shower temperature could have been hotter, but this is the only quibble I can think of.) Things were thoughtfully prepared to make us feel at home. We could really feel relaxed here. The breakfast was excellent and we enjoyed the selection of home-made muffins,... More

My husband and I have spent four nights in this friendly B&B last september 2015. John receveid us like family, and was attentive all that we could need. They have a concept of life that we share, so it´s great respect for nature and environmental care that show. The room and bath inside are perfectly treated, wifi in the room... More

Truly excellent stay. John is an exceptional host. He accommodated our early arrival and welcomed us with a cup of tea after a somewhat challenging drive from the airport adjusting to the left side of the road in Edinburgh rush hour traffic. The room was large and well-appointed, with good heat, ventilation, plenty of hot water and nice bonuses like... More

My husband and I stayed in this friendly B&B for a couple of nights while we were helping our son move into his student flat nearby. Our ground floor double room was large, comfortable and well equipped and - rare these days - had a proper full-sized en suite bathroom. Breakfast was as substantial as you wanted it to be... More

This is a lovely B&B! It is well located for exploring both the Royal Mile and Royal Botanic Garden (about 25 minutes to walk to the former, about 15 to the latter). Our room was spacious and well appointed and the beds extremely comfortable. John was a great host--he gave excellent directions, good suggestions for things to see and do... More

I stayed this place for two nights with my mom at twin room. Simply, it was very very good decision. First, I walked from train station and felt that it is pretty far to walk with carriers. But I could see a lot of nice restaurants and pubs on the way, so I think it's good for first visitors to... More

I stayed with a friend in this very comfortable, welcoming B and B on the edge of the New Town. The room was excellent and the freshly cooked organic breakfasts were of very high quality. There were home cooked muffins and scones as well. The location is quiet yet only a fifteen minute walk from all the sites. There are... More
