It was my fifth visit to Edinburgh. I stayed at Mc'Craes B&B on my first visit in 2013. After that, I tried to book Mc'Craes B&B for three years when I was running the Edinburgh Marathon, but every time all the rooms were already occupied....More

Thank you so much for your great review Valeriy. The one downside of being quite popular is that repeat guests, that I look forward to having back to stay with us, sometimes end up being disappointed. I'm glad you finally made it back to us...More

First time I've stayed although my son has stayed before. Well run, nice feel, well appointed rooms, low key but clever way of running a small B&B, look forward to being back in March. Quality ingredients for breakfast, comfortable bed, nice showers - great biscuits!More

A very much appreciated review. Thank you so much. With only a few years of running the B&B behind me, I have only recently started feeling that we've figured it out and are doing things as well as we can. It's great to have feedback...More

We stayed with John and his family for our first trip to Edinburgh. This is a small (only three rooms) family run place with a homey and charming feel. We loved that they are a part of the organic movement and every choice of linen,...More

Hi. The tram, to its last stop at York place, drops you to within an easy 10 minute walk downhill to the b&b. It takes about 45 mins. Alternatively, the airport express bus gets you to the city centre faster but leaves you... More
