We were in the area for a family funeral and needed a good location to visit relatives close by. My wife and Daughter had been here before for a meal. We called the reception direct and made a booking and the reservation was quickly acknowledged by e mail. The impression right away was " A friendly place". On arrival we...

Been staying 2 nights midweek for past two months and will continue to do so for some time. Delighted to have found such a first class 'home' whilst working away. On a bus route straight in to town, good food, nice people and fantastic value. Couldn't and wouldn't ask for more. Absolutely no hesitation in bringing the family down for...

Upon checking in we were pleasantly surprised by the quaint appearance of this "Hotel." The rooms are moderately run down, but clean, and come with a few upgrades that make them comfortable. However, after dark the quaintness fades and the whole property quickly goes from hotel to party bar. Maybe I'm not familiar with the whole "House Hotel" concept, but...

A friendly old fashioned small hotel. Rooms pleasant. Location superb,a bus stop right outside (frequent) to Edinburgh centre and the bypass close by if you wish to go further afield. Food (both breakfast and evening meal) was excellent. Slightly worn feel to some areas but would highly recommend. Good value for Edinburgh if you are fed up with budget hotels.

This is a tiny family-run hotel with cosy rooms and great staff. It is located quite far from the Edinburgh downtown but the bus stop is right in front of the hotel so there is no problem to get to the city and back. The rooms are very clean, it is calm and comfortable. Highly recommended.

just outside the city within easy reach as the bus stop is outside the hotel and takes about 10 minutes to centre, best way to travel as car parks and taxis are not cheap. Rooms very modern and very clean and stylish. Breakfast very good. The adjoining conservatory acts as a restaurant and bar and the atmosphere and choice of...

The hotel is a little house a bit away from the citycentre of Edinburgh. You have to go by car or bus in you want to visit this. The staff of the hotel was really friendly and helpful. Our room was small but clean. The bathroom was also clean but there was one little dirt on the toilette. Our beds...
