We stayed at the Rowans GH over the Easter bank holiday and had a very enjoyable stay. The house itself is very handy for the buses or a 25 min walk if you fancy it into the centre. Edinburgh is a fascinating city and we had a great time exploring. Our room was nice with plenty of space, had a...

We had a lovely stay here over Hogmanay. Rowan House is located on a quiet street, one back from the main road where you can get the bus directly into the city which takes 5-10mins. Breakfast was amazing consisting of choice of juices, choice of fresh friuit, cereal, yoghurts, along with a full Scottish breakfast - and even comes with...

Finding a place to stay in Edinburgh during the Festival wasn't easy. I was glad to find this hotel, and wasn't disappointed. Putting aside the fact that B&B prices in Edinburgh are high compared to the rest of the UK and we would normally expect a bit more luxury anywhere else for this price - we had a pleasant stay. The room was clean, the bed comfortable and the breakfast adequate. The proprietors were attentive but not intrusive and were flexible about...

We found Alan and the Rowan Guest House through a Travel Information Center (TI) along Loch Ness. We stayed for two nights and had a great room on the third floor. Our room had three beds which made repacking for the trip home easier. Alan and Angela have several menus and other pieces of information available to make the stay...

This B&B is situated on the south side of Edinburgh. It is on a pleasant quiet street a couple of minutes walk from the A701 main road with frequent buses to the city centre (10 - 15 minute journey). Parking is on-street but I didn't have a problem finding a space and it is free. There are several pubs and...
