The restaurant called McChristies and is is separate from the pub and rooms and had a lovely atmosphere. The restaurant got busy as the night went on. We were well looked after by Esther and the other members of staff. The menu has many different items to choose from and was very good.

Stayed here for a few days, room quite spacious and cleaned every day, en suite room, staff pleasant and free parking at the back. However room smelled of stale smoke, you could hear the noise from the pub directly underneath until late at night and wifi did not work in the bedroom.

I recently visited McChristies Well with my partner on a busy Saturday night. While all the staff were very pleasant, the wait for both drinks and food was long. I appreciate they are busy, but the majority of people would have booked, so this must give them an indication of how many staff they should have on? While our food... More

I recently had a meal at McChristies Well and I enjoyed my meals but the service was TERRIBLE! The first two meals were fine but then they took about 30 minutes to clear our table then another 30mins to allow us to order a dessert and it didn't come until 20mins later I was really disappointed! Also they make us... More

I've been in this restaurant a couple of times and each time I'm completely satisfied, really nice food and good service... I did not stay at any time as I live fairly local to the establishment, but if you want good food and good value I heartily advise a wee look in!

Went last night had set menu £11.95. Excellent value, food lovely drink reasonable. Restaurant was very busy always a good sign. However we were served very quickly. I had late and fish and chips, my wife had chicken kebabs and salmon bake. Tea and coffee is included in the deal.

We went to McChristies the other night for a family meal as its local and my parents had been a few days earlier and said their £7.95 two course menu was superb value. There was a large group of us due to visit so we decided to book and were perplexed to be told that we would all have to... More

We went on a Tues evening and ordered off the set menu £10.95.Everyone really enjoyed their meals and it is of a high quality. There was also a good choice on the menus as well. If I was really critical I would say that the chips would be better home made. I will be eating here again as the value... More
