My friend and I travelled down for a surprise birthday party, we only booked a double room with a week or two's notice and were delighted to secure one on a Saturday night - it was the last available one as well, another friend tried to get one - for only £60. Having stayed in many hotels over the years... More

Stayed for just one night but what a lovely experience. Staff are all totally welcoming and fabulous. Food is great and just finished the best breakfast. Even had kippers. Room was really comfortable and spotlessly clean. Thanks to everyone and we will be back. Pub is super and hubby loved the choice of real ale.

We recently stayed here for a long weekend break and we could not be happier with the general hotel, it's staff; friendly and courteous the room basic yet well finished and clean, the food on offer was worthy of a hotel of a higher standard. Pretty much no downsides to this fantastically located inn/ tavern that has a fabulous range... More

My husband and I stayed overnight in this lovely wee hotel and were well impressed with our room (5) and couldn't believe how big and spacious it was.the hotel sits just beside the shore and is just as handy for the shops and the castle. We dined there and the food was delicious. Generous portions and very reasonably priced. The... More

My adult daughter and I booked a night here on the spur of the moment, and couldn't have been more delighted with our stay. The bar was atmospheric and our room was clean and modern. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful. Not only were they pleasant to guests, but they all also seemed to get on with each other,... More

We have stayed in this gem of a place in Broughty Ferry several times, when visiting relatives. The rooms are very comfortable, and the low-ceilinged bar is very atmospheric with a good range of real ales and other beers. Handy for the beach, golf courses, fishing trips, or just exploring some of the local areas.

Clean rooms, good food, and unusually very good cask beer( for Scotland).their are not many. Broughty ferry is a great area to stay with many... More

This hotel is a busy establishment in the middle of Broughty Ferry near Dundee. We chose it as it advertised ground floor rooms. We were allocated one of these which was freshly decorated with a large double bed and good bathroom. The food was excellent, breakfast especially, when helpful staff produced whatever was asked for, in whatever amount was asked... More

We booked here for an overnight stay having read good reviews on trip advisor. The room was freshly decorated and quiet considering the tavern is pretty busy. The choice of food for dinner was pretty reasonable as were the prices. The quality was great as was the taste. Breakfast in the morning did not disappoint either. The staff in the... More

We had visited the restaurant for meals before and, needing to stay in the area next visit, booked a couple of nights stay. The staff were really attentive and helpful even though they were also hosting the annual Ron Bonar beer festival to raise funds for the RNLI. This meant additional work for them. The room was great and, for... More
