Went with friend and had to eat in spice restaurant due to a wedding being hosted in the hotel. This was explained when I booked and was no problem. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Good menu to choose from although if I'm picky the actual menus were a bit crumpled and could do with replacing. I had steak pie...

I have eaten a few times at The Taychreggan, always ordering from the British menu as I am fussy about Indian food due to be disappointed when ordering from other places. We decided we would order a take away to be delivered from Spice on Saturday, it was delivered in good time and I can honestly say, it was brilliant!!...

I attended for afternoon tea with my husband as part of a recent itison offer. I had tried to attend on short notice a few weeks earlier but was told afternoon tea is only available on certain days pre booked and assumed this was due to preparation of fresh scones and cakes so went on to book for a convenient...

Another lovely afternoon tea of the usual high standard. Good fillings in the sandwiches, lashings of jam & cream for the scones and pancakes, and lots of tasty treats in the sweet selection. Staff are very pleasant & attentive. The décor is very nice & a lovely garden to sit out or wander round. Very clean premises.

I stayed here whilst away on business, nice location just outside Dundee. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff friendly & helpful. Breakfast was ok in the morning. Nice cheap and cheerful b & b, great price for this time of year. Wifi not the best.

We went to the Taychreggan to celebrate my husbands birthday. There were 9 of us all together and everyone truly enjoyed our visit. The food was absolutely delicious, tasty, hot & plenty. There was lots to choose from, from curry to traditional food and baguettes. We all has starters and a main course. Everyone had something different and we all...

Great quiet hotel with lovely garden terrace. I would suggest that it is more of a homely Scottish Guest House with well known comforts that are associated with a family run establishment. Staff are friendly and polite in all areas of the hotel. Well worth a visit.

Went for an evening meal last week with my husband and seven year old son. The menu was great as their was food to cater for all. My son went for fish chips whilst we had the mixed starter for two, chicken karahi and biryani. The chicken karahi was especially tasty and my son thoroughly enjoyed it too. Great place...
