We stayed one night at Fludha during our touring around southern Scotland. Jackie was very friendly and helpful in getting us settled in and suggesting a local restaurant for dinner. We needed to eat fairly quickly as we were taking a tour in the evening, so she suggested Polar Bites - the local seafood/ "chippy" place. Both my wife and...

From the moment Jackie, the manager came out to meet and greet us until the time we left we were treated more as friends than paying guests. Our room was well appointed and spacious, the bathroom a very good size and the guest lounge and dining room comfortable. The breakfast was excellent, especially their fruit salad, the choice of dishes...

We treated our Auntie to a stay here for her 91st birthday having visited with friends in August. Jackie gave her the best room with views over the gardens and estuary and made her feel really welcome. All the staff are both helpful and efficient whilst being genuinely welcoming, warm and really good fun and give as good as they...

Beautiful, comfortable room. Fantastic views. Peaceful location, yet close enough to walk to town and amenities. Nothing is too much trouble for Jackie or any of the staff. Breakfast always cooked to perfection. Looking forward to returning.

We stayed for two nights and really enjoyed our stay. We were welcomed by Jackie who gave us helpful advice regarding eating in the town. The room was lovely and spacious with excellent bathroom . Breakfast was really good with super fresh ingredients. The honesty bar was well stocked and we enjoyed a night cap sitting in the wonderful grounds.

This is a beautiful house in a great spot for staying in Kirkcudbright. Set at the top of a driveway that goes through lovely gardens you have a great view down to the estuary (and also from your room if in No 5) and easily walkable into town. Rooms exceptionally clean and fresh with a great welcome from Jackie who...

Enjoyed a wonderful three day break at Fludha with two of our close friends. Great location with stunning views and lovely gardens.
