This was an overnight stay on our way to Fort William. The room was excellent, an excellent welcome from a lovely couple. Breakfast was excellent. Would highly recommend it. Would definitely stay here again.

A direct November night and when we arrived our welcome brightened the whole day. The owner was very helpful. Polite and explained about the local resturaunts and how to find them. The room was well appointed and very comfortable. Breakfast in the morning , freshly cooked with home fresh eggs. Really nice place

My wife and I stayed there en route down south. The room was of an adequate size but not large. The en suite had been built into the room which intruded into the space of the room, and it contained one of the smallest sinks I have ever seen! There was a TV in the room and tea-making facilities of...

Stayed here for one night in early October enroute to family party in Highlands. Alexander House couldn't be bettered in our view for an ideal overnight stay. Great location just off M74/M6 but very quiet for a light sleeper. Spotless room, comfy bed with pristine linen, good WiFi connection and excellent breakfast. The friendly couple who run this lovely place...

Very pleasant stay. Ideal location close to all amenities. Even though close to road and rail network it was surprisingly very quiet. Room was bright and very clean. Breakfast was first class and lots to choose from. Owners were very welcoming and helpful. Will definitely stay at Alexander House again when we next visit.

Lovely fresh towels. Bed was very very comfortable and the best we slept in during our 10 day tour of Scotland. Breakfast was really good with...

The whole place is spotless, the owners very nice, and the Breakfast was outstanding. Double room and B&B was £60, but well worth it. I wouldn't hesitate in booking again. It is a 5 minute walk to the Gretna Outlet Retail Village.
