Thanks to Andrew we had a very pleasant stay at Irish Gait. The rooms were large & comfortable. Breakfasts were great as was Andrew's commentary. Lunch downstairs in Scrumptious really was scrumptious!! Location was ideal for us - only minus would be parking.

The place is full of character and history situated in central Dumfies. Plenty of restaurants in the neighbourhood although the Scottish breakfast is first rate with your genial host Andrew, a pleasure. This is a great bed and breakfast rather than a hotel.
