Cheeky escape from the lakes, wish we had stayed in the lakes. Cold room on arrival and I mean cold!! Awful breakfast, buffet style with plastic lids , worst I have seen in years. Bar area had no character and to be honest not many seats and tables, 3-4 to be precise, whole hotel apart from the leisure centre looked...

Stopped here on way home. Pleasant staff. Comfortable family room. Slept well. Had evening meal in hotel, did not want to go out as weather had been bad. Could not fault the meal. Good size portions at reasonable prices. Breakfast was good.

Having been here before a change of ownership, and a few times after, I found the menu choice at lunch time as a set menu choice of 3 starters/3 mains a bit to limited. On going onto the larger menu a lager selection was balanced with classics, and also some different options also. The fish and chips while well cooked,...

went to my nephews weeding here recently. The staff were great and the food was fine for a weeding. The interior of the building could do with a a bit of modernising and money putting into it. The breakfast was ok - could do with a bit better quality meat and timings were a bit off for the buffet running...

I was travelling from Belfast to the south of England, via Cairnryan. I was only arriving into Cairnryan at approx 10.00pm. This hotel closes at 11pm, but the owner rang me to say that they'd wait for me to get there. I got delayed more than I thought I would and after a few wrong turns I eventually found the...

Popped in here for lunch for the first time in ages to discover that it had changed ownership and had recently changed name too (formerly The Moreig Hotel). It’s a large sandstone building in a mainly residential area on one of the main approach roads to the town centre and has it’s own car park at the front of the...

This hotel is lovely - a fast and friendly check in, and then presented with a beautiful room. The room was spacious, immaculately clean and very well decorated. It looked like it had been recently renovated. The bathroom was very clean with soaps, shower gel and body lotion provided. The beds were so comfy, with fresh and luxurious sheets and...

Only went there to eat and is no better than average! Service slow despite place being nearly empty. Fish and chips nothing special with batter too greasy, there are many better places than this in town. Will not return.

Stayed here with friends for 2 nights. Very very good vfm. Rooms clean and reasonably well equipped. Breakfasts were excellent with exceptional service. Particularly spectacular porridge. We had dinner in the hotel both evenings and all of us were pleased with the food and service. Plenty parking space. Very friendly, efficient and unobtrusive staff Would definitely recommend.
