We booked a table for 2 before going to the theatre. We’ve been a few times to events which have always been ok. But I felt a meal in the restaurant rather than a big catered event might be special. First we were sat next to the only other table in the restaurant. Which was a loud family of 4. It was fine but why the need to sit the only two tables in the restaurant next to each other is odd. I returned my glass of white wine because it wasn’t cold enough. Initially I was offered ice for it. The next glass was also not cold but I was assured it was straight from the fridge. Cold creates condensation on the glass in my own house so I feel it should, for a fiver, in a restaurant. The overall feel of the restaurant is disappointing considering the grandeur of the place. Wine glasses look cheap, fake flower in the vase, dodgy fork. Everything was clean but just a bit cheap looking. Pate was bland but the salmon terrine was lovely. The venison and rump steak were really tasty and the steak cooked exactly how I like it. Not sure about the chips with the steak but over all the food was lovely. Waiting staff took so long to ask if we wanted to see the dessert menu and then if we wanted anything that we’d run out of time. I’d say overall, even though the food was nice it just didn’t feel worth it. I probably would not go again to the restaurant again, which is a shame.

Good Morning TDtrips78, Firstly, thank you for taking the time to provide us with feedback, we rely on this to ensure that we can continually improve our level of service. Please let me apologise for the mistakes that were made with your wine and food, this has been fed back to the relevant managers . With regards to the flowers on the table, our florist delivers once a week, sometimes in the event that we have not had our fresh flower delivery we do have to use faux. I hope that we can welcome you back to the hotel in the near future.

Tbh would rate at 3.5 if could. Lovely setting and really nice dining area serving nice well presented food at reasonable prices. Waiter was really nice & friendly too. HOWEVER …. dining room seats are the most uncomfortable & unpaddred seats I’ve sat in in a long while. You could actually feel the wooden frame of the chairs when you sat down! Two in our group suffer from sciatica & lack of comfortable seating set it off. If chairs had been comfortable could perhaps got 4 or 5 rating!!!

We stayed here for two nights for a wedding and my birthday and really enjoyed our stay. All the staff were very welcoming and helpful and the breakfasts were tasty and copious, served at the table. Our room was quite small, but the bed was comfy, the room was clean and it overlooked the woods at the back, so the view was pretty. All in all, this was a lovely stay and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend Inglewood, especially as it's in a great location in central Scotland and easy to find.

From the moment we arrived Rebecca made us feel welcome. Our woodland pod wasn't quite ready (but we had checked in early so our fault!) So she complimented us with a coffee while we waited. The house keeping staff were so nice to quickly turn the pod around so we could drop off our luggage. Next it was off to the hot tub and sauna which were really nice. We then ate at the Forrester's and the service was as great as the food! All in all an amazing place for grown ups to get away from the kids.

After making the booking prior to covid, we had to move our booking and the hotel were very accommodating. The hotel it is very well presented and staff are very helpful. The check in process was easy and our room was very spacious looking out over the lawns at the front. Bed very comfy, for me personally I like a powerful shower so this was the only thing I could fault as the shower wasn't as powerful as I would have liked. Everywhere was clean and well presented. We used the spa which again was clean and well presented, 2 hot tubs and a few different rooms to relax in, again couldn't fault anything. We had a range of food on our visit including afternoon tea, evening meal and breakfasts which were all very nice. All staff were very helpful but one member in particular was stand out (sorry didnt catch her name, female supervisor with blonde hair) she was very attentive, arranged taxis for us and was always on hand to help and she is a real asset to the team. We hope to visit again in the future and would highly recommend to others as the hotel is excellent value for money.

When making our booking , we were unsure of the type of accommodation, which was a Pod in the grounds of the hotel at the rear. When we arrived, we were hugely impressed by the hotel main building, which is a magnificent building from the late Victorian / early Edwardian period, set in beautiful grounds. The interior of the main building is equally impressive. The check-in was supposed to be 3pm, but we were pleased to find that the Pod was ready at 1.30pm. The pods sit at the edge of the wooded area and have verandas with tables and chairs. The Pod was surprisingly spacious and very cosy. It had pull down seatee and a double bed in a recessed alcove. It had a sink unit and a good sized fridge. The bathroom was bright and very clean with an enclosed shower . There were coffee and tea making facilities as well as plates and cutlery. We had access to the spa facilities and the hot tubs. The only blip was getting a locker that had the provided towels and robe in the ladies changing room for my wife. This took several attempts, before the required items were provided by the hotel reception. The spa has hot tub jacuzzi and treatment rooms as well as a tea room. We had booked a dinner bed and breakfast package . The food in the restaurant in the hotel was nothing short of superb. The hot smoked salmon salad and chicken, sweet corn chowder were our starters ( absolutely gorgeous) . This was followed by the baked cod and chicken stuffed with black pudding , again wonderful. This was topped off with an excellent cheese board selection. The wine list was good and very well priced at £21 for a lovely Shiraz. The drinks in the hotel in general were very reasonably priced unlike many hotels.Breakfast in the morning was equally enjoyable with an excellent choice available...... All in all, we had a wonderful stay and would have no hesitation in recommending the Inglewood for an overnight stay or just a meal out.

Me and my wife stayed for a night in one of the woodland pods and I can't fault a single thing. Very pleasant staff throughout the stay, from the dinner (which was excellent) and our visit to the spa. If you are looking for a stay in the Alloa area this is definitely a place to check out.

We came for a spa package day. The pastry’s in the breakfast included were rock hard so had to ask for a new plate of them, they were a bit better but still not great and the ‘hot’ beverages were lukewarm as well. The facilities were okay nothing amazing. The massages we got; 2/3 were really good however one was quite poor which was a shame. Afternoon tea was nice but none of the cakes or sandwiches were explained properly they were just sat in front of us and a few explained as the person was walking away, food service wasn’t great overall. The whole day seemed as if people were in a rush and couldn’t really be bothered (there was 2 members of staff that were great but the rest not very) so didn’t feel very relaxing and we didn’t come out feeling relaxed either. Definitely not worth the money paid and we wouldn’t recommend.
