We stayed as a couple at Garvally House as a base for a nostalgic trip to the area. This is a wonderful place to stay -the hospitality and thoughtfulness of owners Naomi and Michael cannot be faulted. Every detail for the comfort of guests has been considered. Breakfast was excellent- good choice and well-cooked. A bonus was the very charming...

Our stay at Garvally House was so lovely I feel somewhat guilty that it has taken me a few weeks to get round to placing this well deserved five star review. We were attending a wedding locally and we could not have chosen a more perfect place to spend our two nights in Alloa. The hosts are warm and welcoming....

Lovely house, lovely hosts. Stayed overnight due to attending a wedding at Inglewood house, Alloa. Food was lovely, all home made and locally sourced. Old fashioned house with lots of character but modern bedrooms and bathroom. Would recommend. (Taxi to Inglewood house was only £3-4).

I cannot express my thoughts in a few words here, suffice to say I can only fully endorse All other positive reviews I have read. Fantastic room, unbelievably comfortable bed, immaculately clean. Garvally House is a beautiful, comfortable home with the most impressive period furnishings. It is a shame my stay was a short (business) one as I would have...

Booked this B&B as other hotels in the area were full, how lucky were we !! A truly beautiful home with two lovely hosts, and despite only being back from their holiday that same day, could do no more for us to make us feel welcome. Special mention to Naomi who served us a breakfast fit for a king/queen. Stunning...

The warmest of welcomes; the most comfortable of beds; the breakfast of champions; and all at a great price - Excellent! The rooms are really well equipped with lots of special little touches; I'm not going to spoil the surprise - go and find them out for yourself!

Totally agree with the previous reviewers. Everything was perfect. Hosts, room and breakfast. All was clean and the bed was excellent. Highly recommended. We stayed only one night, but will go there again if ever in that part of Scotland.

We came to Scotland to visit family and stayed at Garvally House for 2 weeks. Wonderful historic house and Naomi and Michael have turned hospitality into an art form. Home made yogurt, bread, jam, granola, honey, 5 star Scottish cooked breakfast greeted us each morning. Home made cake and a whiskey night cap ended our day and we tumbled into...
