My team mates and I were lucky enough to stay in this fantastic B&B in November! We were touring Scotland and had been staying in lots of B&B's, we expected a clean bed and a hot bath but this place is something else!! It appears that the rooms have all been done up since the photos were taken and I...

I booked in here for a night in a bit of desperation – I couldn’t find anywhere closer to Edinburgh for a reasonable price! As rash decisions go it was a great one. It was a lovely little B&B with some of the nicest owners I met on a three month holiday. You could tell they ran a B&B because...

We spent a few days at Lynwood for our wedding anniversary and it was perfect . It had all the little touches you do not normally get ,ie lots of large fluffy towels ,cosy bath robes ,toiletries ,tissues ,all hair styling needs . I don't think Maggie and Dave could do any more to improve it . Good choice of...

Our suite was furnished beautifully and was so comfortable! Every little detail was obviously well thought out and it showed! We felt so at home and welcome.Margaret provided us with a great menu option for breakfast which in itself was delicious, and could not be faulted! We had a great Indian meal in Hawick called the New Dehli (suggested by Margaret),and...

My wife and I have friends in Hawick and stay probably once a year. We've tried another couple of establishments in preceeding years but this one was a real find.First of all you have a bedroom and a separate bath and shower area and then a separate wardrobe in suite 2.In addition to that you have a lounge area with a...

My husband and I stayed at Lynnwood Cottage for one night in June. The location was perfect, just on the outskirts of Hawick in a quiet spot, surrounded by trees but within easy walking distance of town. Maggie is lovely and went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The suite...

We stayed here for one night enroute to Edinburgh and had a lovely stay here. The acommodation we had was so large and comfortable we knew it would be extremely difficult to get anything better anywhere. Maggie is very welcoming and hospitable and the setting of the house is really lovely, across a river and surrounded by beautiful trees.
