We've stayed with Maggie & Davey on a few occasions on our trips up & down to Scotland & can easily say it's the best B&B we've ever stayed at. You don't just get a room, it's like your on little cottage, with bathroom, dressing room, bedroom & the most wonderful cozy lounge with a small table at the end...

Stayed over on way back from a family visit near Dundee. Have 2 dogs and elderly mobile relative. Maggie and DAve were so accommodating when we loaded in 2 dog crates cases and grandad. We turned their beautiful accommodation upside down. But did leave it as we found it. Breakfast choices were amazing. Would highly recommend. Lovely walks around too.

We have stayed at the Lynnwood Cottage on a number of occasions over the years as we have family that live in Hawick. Every stay is exceptional. The suites are both beautiful, the surroundings unspoilt and the hospitality generous. This is a real exemplar bed and breakfast and incredibly good value considering the quality of the rooms and food. It...

Although I've travelled to and through Hawick for at least 15 years, I'd never stayed at Lynnwood Cottage. A little south of the town centre on the Newcastleton Road (but easily within walking distance), I'd always noticed their small sign. I'm kicking myself now, to put it mildly... What an absolute gem of a place, in every way, with delightful,...

We chose to spend the night at Lynwood Cottage B&B while walking the Jedburgh to Hawick section of the Borders Abbeys Way. It was the perfect stop-off; in a quiet location really close to the town centre and with a warm welcome and luxurious comfort. Maggie did everything she could to ensure we had an enjoyable and relaxing stay. Our...

It is an amazing lovely place. It was very pleasant to spend few days there, you're at 8 min from the center of hawick by walking. I felt really welcome and the breakfast was great... I had the big suite with a bubble bath and two rooms for my stay.

Not sure what else Maggie needs to do to get a 5 star tourist board rating because there was nothing more we could have wanted or needed. Our suite, yes a suite, not just a room, was stunning. Immaculately presented and comfortable. Breakfast was served at a time of our choice and everything was cooked to perfection. We only wish...

This is not your ordinary B&B. I have traveled all over the world and have to say the two suites that are offered are of the same pedigree of any 5 star hotel anywhere. The genuine warmth and open welcome that Dave and Maggie give their guests is simply wonderful. A flash back to a simpler and smaller world where...
