We just had a two night stay at this hotel - my parents, my husband and I and our small baby. The hotel has great gardens and is about 10-15-minutes walk from the centre of town. There is also a pretty sitting room at the front, looking on to the gardens, with a truly amazing, very ornate ceiling. The food...

We recently had a one night stay at the Mansfield House Hotel which was very enjoyable, we were pleasantly surprised as we don't think the photos on the internet do this hotel justice. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially Nathan who was professional, calm, friendly and polite. It seems as if he runs the hotel almost single handedly at...

This small yet very comfortable boutique hotel was really a pleasant stay in Hawick. The room was just great with a very good view and it feels liek you're at home (a very nice one indeed!). Staff is friendly and helpful, good restaurant for breakfast and dinner as well. Higly recommended.

This is my wife & I's first visit to Mansfield House Hotel. We requested Room 6, after reading a "Trip Advisor" report, and were certainly not disappointed. It was a lovely room with a panoramic view of Hawick. The only criticism we commented to the receptionist, was the black mould around the interior base of the shower. Not something you...

Quality throughout. Friendly staff and first class food. Breakfast is a feast with so much choice. Dinner is classy too. This is a stately home from home. Bedroom was spacious and comfortable. Would stay again sometime.

Immaculate rooms. One or two small things which were immediately rectified when notified eg broken toilet roll holder, menus with missing pages. Huge portions at all meals - and were told they had already reduced portion size! Staff were all polite and pleasant. Could do with a bit more training in dining room to remove unneeded cutlery and glasses.
