Stayed 3 nights lovely comfy bed spotlessly clean beautiful old house with lots of history. Mike and Julie are lovely and very accommodating. Breakfast was excellent and varied each morning. The location of the house is just brilliant quiet and peaceful yet just a short walk from all the shops etc. Although our room was beautifully decorated a good size...

Many thanks for taking the time to write your very kind review. We have taken note of your comment about room 2 and the description on booking.com not including mention of the bath/shower arrangement and altered the copy to try to make it more clear. Thank you for staying with us. Julie and Mike

We had a really enjoyable couple of nights here. It's a little way up a hill five minutes from town (but not too steep !), there is parking. Room was clean and comfy, breakfast was nice, lots of choice, and the hosts were very friendly. Our room was nice, but next to a non-ensuite bathroom used by other guests, who...

We spent a short time in Oban, but enjoyed the Heatherfield House. Walking distance to downtown, yet a lovely quiet location with some view of the water. Breakfast was delicious. Our first floor room was appreciated and appointed with tea, coffee, and snacks. Thank you so much!

Central B&B, but far enough up the hill to feel that you are away from the main thoroughfare, whilst still being within walking distance of shops, restaurants, bars and seafront. The property was spotlessly clean, the bedrooms very comfortable, and breakfast was excellent. Mike and Julie were fabulous hosts, and could not have done more to make us feel welcome,...

Mike and Julie are very welcoming hosts, the info pack provided in rooms is helpful and the house itself stunning. Rooms are very comfy, I particularly enjoyed the big bathtub in room 2, well appointed with nice extra touches. I like the big mugs for tea in the room, makes a change from flimsy little ones. Breakfast was yummy, and...

A lovely Victorian home with each bedroom having its own ensuites. Pedestal sink, black and white floor and claw baths give it a luxurious feel. Assorted teas and coffee with your own kettle await you in the bedroom? The owners are extremely friendly and breakfast - hearty or simple, however you wish it - is included. We'd definitely return when...

We stayed at Heatherfield House for one night. This B&B is very well located, almost in the village of Oban. The rooms are very clean and decorated with taste. Breakfast was delicious with fish specialities! I was surprised to see so many guests at breakfast - it looks like the house is well isolated.

The hosts were super friendly and willing to help in any way. Excellent rooms and super breakfast. Perfectly located within 2 mins walk of town centre and excellent views from our bedroom over the harbour and islands. Highly recommended and difficult to find fault.

  • Everything in the room was of the highest standard
  • Everything was thought of, even down to the bar of Cadburys chocolate
  • I fell in love with the beautiful dressing table in our room
  • Plenty of hanging space in the wardrobe, as well as dressing gowns and refreshment facilities.
  • The bathroom was perfectly formed and well stocked with Purdies toiletries
  • The view from our room looks over to Kerrera and Mull
