I went there to stay there due to work purposes ,When I arrived the owner did a mistake with my name ( she was adamant that I was Ralph ??? ) I know my name and I doubt that she was that busy with booking .....When I made my reservation ,I did let her know that I was working during the night ,I asked not to be disturb ,during the day ,and yet the next morning someone was knocking at the door to do the room...tallk about lack of communication Due to the covid regulation ,I took a room with private bathroom ,but how can I use that designated bathroom when someone else has already use it .... And if you do want to talk to the owner about something ,good luck because she is unapproachable in the bedroom,I booked a single bed ,I am a big guy what the owner should have noticed but still she put me in a room where the bed were child size ,the quilt was not adequate for my size when I asked to be upgraded to a small double ,she was not forth coming and still waiting an answer to the message I send her via Booking .com it has been 3 weeks I took my cash elsewhere Avoid at all cost

I had initially booked a single room but upon arriving I found the room had no electricity. I went back to reception, which was in a different building, and reported this problem. The receptionist decided to move me into a room in the main building, which would have been fine except I had a lot of heavy luggage, being in the middle of a relocation, and I'd already carried it up and down 3 flights of stairs. But she offered to help me and the room I moved into was a much nicer sea view double, so I was very happy with that. The shower in this room was amazing, huge and with the standard shower head and the rain type. The bed was very comfortable. They had a system of writing on a door sign what things you wanted in the room or wanted replaces (tea/coffee, towels, bin bags etc) so nobody had to put themselves at risk by coming into the room unnecessarily. The heating system was very effective and kept me toasty. The only downside was the noise from the pub Markie Dan's below, a lot of people seem to sit and stand outside and get increasingly rowdy. It did not affect me because of the 10.30pm curfew which I am extremely grateful for; but when this is lifted the noise will go on later and become more of a problem. The thing I was most impressed with was the kitchen, it seems to be newly fitted and it's really nice with plenty of fridge and cupboard space and everything you could ever need for cooking and food preparation. I would definitely stay here again :)

Beautiful view from the room, could see isles and harbour. Quiet area and close to the shops and restaurants. Nice staff, clean room and corridors. Pub just under the stairs. Will stay again in the summer.

We stayed one night and it was really more than enough. We had 2 rooms, both very old and the beds were totally uncomfortable. The heating was very old, noise and in my opinion not even updated with the safety standards. We cannot recommend it.

Check in was a little difficult as we arrived around 7.30pm. I had 2 young children with me. No one was at reception, I did call and the phone rang out and then had to leave the children to pop down to the bar to get staffs attention. However, rooms were clean, tidy and comfortable. Good accommodation for a short stay.
