After a long drive from London and being stuck in the car with 3 children for 11hrs, hosts Jacintha and Gerard were very welcoming and offered us drinks upon arrival. The family room we stayed in was clean and spacious and had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable! The continental breakfast was delicious, with lots of options and Jacintha even went out of her way to buy my son brioche’s just because he loves them! I highly recommend the scrabbled eggs and salmon for breakfast. Jacintha went out of her way to make us feel at home and gave us tips on places to visit. She even suggested/recommended local halal places for us to eat. The location was great with amazing views over the landscape, the garden was well maintained with lots of seating options I particularly loved the crate seating, handmade by Gerard himself! Looking forward to coming back and spending another sunny weekend in Oban, we will definitely be staying at the Elderslie guest house again.

Lovely, clean, comfortable guesthouse. In a nice quiet location yet still close to the town centre. Good value for money. Great breakfast. I especially want to thank the hosts who were extremely kind and helpful to me. I had arrived very tired after a looooong cycle and it was wonderful to arrive to such a nice welcome from the hosts. Thank you. The guesthouse is cycle friendly with a safe place (garage) to store your bike.

Just spent a lovely weekend in Oban at the Elderslie Guest House. We were in room 4 which was a superior double, room was very tastefully decorated with a nice EN-suite bathroom. Nice powerful shower and was a good size. The room has superb views across the surrounding countryside through the bay windows. Lovely gardens also. The hosts were very friendly especially Jacintha who catered for all our needs. Wendy and myself would like to wish you all the very best for the future. Stuart.

Stayed for 2 nights in this great little find. Clean, Organised and everything in place for the current covid guidelines. Very friendly and supportive owner who really could not have done any more to make our stay any better. We follow a vegan diet and we were given a Fabulous vegan breakfast - attention to detail was amazing. Soya milk was also provided in our room to make a coffee or tea with. Will definitely return and would highly recommend this B and B.

Two night stay prior to ferry across to Mull. Warm welcome from friendly owners, nothing too much trouble. Comfortable bed with a clean and tidy room and facilities to make a hot drink with real milk. Lovely hot shower. Breakfast offered a variety of options, must recommend scrambled egg and salmon, highlight was fresh fruit. Quiet location with free parking about 20 minutes walk to centre of Oban. Felt like was home from home and highly recommend.
