Very nice quite location, very clean and really nice people to deal with. The people here where really nice, gave us good information on the area and really freindly and easy to deal with. We would highly recommend this place. A little hard to find but well worth the time to find.

We stayed at this B&B recently and absolutely loved it. They make you feel like family. Very helpful and flexible. Yes, you can smell cigarette, but the hosts and the way you are treated by FAR make up for it. Would stay there again in a heartbeat. Loved Murphy.

Oban is a picturesque little town, on the water, with a protected harbor. The Torrans overlooks that harbor, with a picture postcard view. The accommodation is very comfortable, Mr. & Mrs. Calderwood very affable, helpful hosts. A bit out of the "downtown" area, it is a quiet, peaceful place, we highly recommend The Torrans.

My family stayed at this B&B for 2 nights and while our hosts were very nice, it was hard to get past the fact that the house smelled like cigarette smoke. One would expect that if you are going to provide accommodation for guests, you would provide a smoke-free environment. The location was a 15 minute walk to the town's centre. The B&B is on a hillside with a beautiful view of Oban. Parking was very tight.
