Great location and a number of issues may be down to getting back up to speed following covid, however the prices are not inexpensive, staff are friendly however its somewhat disorganised. Evening meal was not as it should be once again I temper this with probable staff difficulties as a result of covid recovery, however prices are top end and you should still expect much better.

This was a New Years Eve re-booking because of covid19. The hotel room was very nice clean and beautiful view. The bathroom fantastic but when we ran the bath the water trickled out and took an age to fill. I don’t usually write bad reviews but felt I should as I was very disappointed with the food. I ordered burger and it was very dry. Not sure how a burger can be ruined! Although the waiter was very helpful he seemed under pressure as staff shortages so waiting time was pretty long. My wife ordered avocado and poached egg for breakfast, the avocado was hard and turned brown, not particularly appetising! My poached eggs were very undercooked and just placed on toast no butter. I thought as hotel had been closed for a while it would have been at its best. I have been waiting for a questionnaire from hotel but as yet nothing received so thought I’d witter on here. Mr Andrews

Dear Mr Andrews, thank you for taking the time to complete your review. Guest feedback really is vital to help us achieve and exceed our guest expectations. I am very sorry to read of the issues you experienced during your stay with us. Please accept my sincere apologies. Thank you also for your complimentary comments about your room, however I am very sorry to hear of water pressure issue you encountered, please rest assured I will look into this immediately. I am also very sorry to read of your breakfast experience, indeed our avocado is fresh daily and there is no reason for it to be served as it was, I will of course raise this with my head chef, and breakfast chef. I do hope that you will allow me the opportunity in the future to restore your confidence in our hotel. Kind regards Marc Gardner General Manager

Right on the seafront this beautifully appointed boutique style hotel has lovely rooms, a varied menu of delicious dishes for breakfast and dinner, professional friendly and helpful staff, an outdoor spa and a bar made for watching the spectacular sunsets over the sea. I had two lovely nights here and would very happily recommend it.

My birthday weekend at Oban Bay Hotel was fantastic, I can't fault anything. The staff were very professional, friendly and extremely attentive. Compliments to the chef as the food 😋 over three days were faultless, absolutely delicious. Its was calming waking up to the glorious seaview each day from our room and the restaurant/bar, great location. I would strongly recommend this hotel.

Spent the Saturday and Sunday of May day bank holiday. To finally celebrate our 1st anniversary and my husbands 50th. Was planned for earlier in the year but lockdown stopped that. Was no trouble to push date forward. The hotel was fab, room was small but perfect. Everything we needed. Dinner first night fantastic as was breakfast on the 2 mornings. But the staff made it! Every one of them was friendly, helpful and polite. Special mention to Liam, Aaron and the Spanish waitress(sorry unsure of name) they were amazing. Always had time for a chat even though they were workimg non stop. Manager always there too, working and chatting to guests. Credit to all of them especially with the current restrictions. Cannot wait to return. Thank you all.
