Dear Derek. Thank you for your review of your recent stay with us here at the Royal Hotel. I'm delighted to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us at the Royal hotel. As its a very old building and normally in Scotland we don't get heat quite like we've been having, It can be very difficult to keep the rooms to a nice temperature. I'm glad that you enjoyed your meal with us in Blasta as we pride ourselves on our food and services. I do apologise about the staff not wearing names badges as this was something that we were waiting to put in place. I would like tell you that we now have all members of staff wearing name badges now. I'm very happy that you enjoyed your stay with us at the Royal Hotel and we hope to see you again soon. Kind Regards Joseph Darrah Assistant Manager

The hotel is very centrally located and had ample parking space. The bar and restaurant could use an upgrade with better wait staff and chef. The room was very clean and cosy with a really nice view of the harbour.
