Pleasant, comfortable, welcoming hotel with superb views but which could be just a little bit better. Breakfast was excellent and the evening meal was ok. Nothing special mind but ok. Rant time I'm afraid .... I come from Yorkshire and we're proud of our pies. And a ramekin of steak stew (nice bits of steak to be fair) with a...

The hotel is surrounded by some beautiful views across the loch, though unfortunately it's not as scenic inside. The example photos on their website shows lovely looking and spacious rooms - which was nothing like the box we were given. We paid £78 for one night at the end of August, which seems overpriced for the standard of room. The...

We stayed for one night, we had a superior room which did have a lovely loch view. The rooms are a bit rough around the edges, but it does have parking to the front and side which is a bonus. However, we were woken at 3.00am in the morning with someone unhumanely snoring, the sound proofing is diabolic, when we...

We stay 2 night in august while taking a tour of Scotland. The location of the hotel is amazing, just facing the Loch Fyne; a few steps from both the Inveraray Castle and the village centre. The staff was frindly and helpful. The rooms are very spacious, a little bit old fashioned in furniture but it was clean and confortable....

I can't believe I booked here looking at the reviews, I must have hoped for the best as there are some good reports. Well its situation on the loch is great and I woke to a lovely view. Good bits end here. The room was quite small with the added benefit of quite a few spider webs, an uncomfortable bed,...

I feel so sorry for the staff here, they were all lovely and tried so hard to deliver a 5* experience.....in 1* surroundings with 0* facilities. I have never before stayed in a room so small, uncomfortable or shabby AND had to part with £95 in advance for the privilidge! That said, the food was really very good, service definitely...
