Lovely rooms in the new section, stayed here whilst working in Montrose for a week in February 2016, found the food and staff to be very nice. During my stay my Girlfriend came to visit me with our dog. The Hotel staff were great and very accommodating, Jasper felt right at home. Big thank you to all the staff.

Good sized bedroom with two comfortable armchairs. Dinner and breakfast food very enjoyable. Helpful and friendly staff. Premises spotlessly clean. We stayed for a long weekend and it was all in all excellent.

So this is what the reviews on the Links Hotel are all about. Good accommodation, good food, excellent service and a staff that knows about customer care! If only every hotel had high standards like this one, even down to.......squeaky floorboards? However, a review of bar prices and the introduction of a house wine would be greatly appreciated by your... More

We met our son In law there as he was home from Australisa. I have great difficulty with my hearing so sitting in the conservatory was too noisy. The waitress said we could sit in the bar. It was quiet there and we had ma lovely lunch. Chicken Caesar Salad was excellent as was the Seafood Salad. It was nice... More

Spent 3 nights on business at The Links. On my first night I stayed in one of the older rooms and was slightly disappointed with the old fashioned room, cluttered with too much furniture. While eating in the excellent restaurant I was asked about my stay by a fellow diner who bizarrely happened to be the manager. On hearing my... More

The hotel is well located close to the High St for shops and buses, and a short walk from the railway station. Also close to the golf courses. It faces onto a well kept park (containing play equipment - for those with children). There is an original building containing the restaurant and bar and some of the rooms. However we... More

I stayed here with my husband for a short break. We had booked an executive room and was pleased overall, although the shower was difficult to operate and the shower room was very hot as the towel rail could not be turned off. On our first night the waiting time in the restaurant was excessive from placing our order to... More

As last year The Links was an oasis at the end of a gruelling two week backpacking trip across Scotland - I did use other hotels a couple of nights en route but The Links is a cut above and I would recommend it to anybody - arriving a day earlier than planned Reception shuffled rooms for me to retain... I stayed in this hotel previously and quite frankly it was getting a bit tired however last week we stayed again and what a difference, new rooms fresh and great attention to detail, food in the restaurant was first class and the staff were very friendly. To be honest its a bit overpriced but with more companies setting up in... More
