Probably one of the worst places I have stayed in. Accommodation needs renovated soon, with all new furnishings and fixtures. The bath is cracked, albeit on the outside, but when I stood under the shower, the bath dipped and creaked badly. Thought for a minute that I was going to fall through. The hot tap at the sink leaked water...

When we checked in the hotel it looked fine, we were shown to our room and it was not only very tired everything was falling apart, the catch on the door, light above bed not working, some of the dressing table mirror missing. The towels were so old and rough you couldn't use them. The staff were pleasant and the...

We have stayed here previously and enjoyed our stay. This time awas a bit different. We had lunch which was great food and great value for money. Check in fine girl friendly. Got to room and it was smelling of smoke. Loick on door not good which left the room being unsecured. We went to shop and bought air freshener...

Was here for 2 days and it was nice, you get what you pay for and that's ok. Food and drink were good prices for a hotel, only thing is the rooms are a bit dated and could do with a couple of things updated but over all a pleasant stay. If you want an early night upstairs, bring a...

Husband and I recently visited for an evening meal and found the food very nice indeed and high standard. The price was also good and will definitely go back next time in area. Young lads serving were also very helpful. We were informed that it would take around 20 mins for the food as the kitchen was busy but that...

2 night stay as a couple. Couldn't get the Carnoustie Golf Hotel and after dining here last year thought I would try it. Upstairs and downstairs are polar opposites. The room was dated, the bathroom is filthy, I don't mean just a bit of dust, the carpet is dirty. There is a bus stop right outside the 'hotel' and it...

We were in a newly refurbished room (1). It was very nice. Huge comfortable bed, spotless bathroom and lots of space. The staff were all friendly, helpful and efficient. We ate there on the Sunday (high tea) and we were well pleased with the quality and quantity. The starters were superb. The mains were also very good especially the Dauphinoise...

The Kinloch has improved beyond words in the last few months. We had previously had a couple of average experiences, but in the last two months have visited twice and the kitchen has really turned around. We have two excellent meals on both occasions. The quality of the burgers especially is very high, and the portion sizes are generous meaning...
