Breakfast We were told upon checking-in that breakfast would be served between 8am and 11am. We arrived downstairs at 9.30am for a warm cooked breakfast only to be told that we couldn't have a cooked breakfast (despite paying additional in room rate) because they stopped serving it at 9am. No compensation was offered. Room In our room the there was...

Booked a 5pm deal for two nights with full Scottish breakfast and three course dinner both nights in a standard double room. The rooms are very basic however great for the price I paid and the only downfall I had was that there was no aircon so the room was very stuffy even with the window open. Staff all very...

I booked this hotel through booking.com, as the location seemed perfect. I noticed there were some negative reviews about the rooms, so I decided to upgrade to their executive double. What a disappointment! The room was very tired looking, with a bed and mattress probably the same age as the décor, around 40! The shower was hot or cold, nothing...

This hotel fulfilled my needs in Aberdeen. it's perfectly fine. The shower was great, the TV and the heaters worked and the staff were friendly. I did not have breakfast so can't comment (I highly recommend the brunch menu at Musa, just across the road). Beware the wifi is paid (free at reception). I did not test it as I...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel which is in a great position in Aberdeen. Just across from the shopping centre and 5 mins walk to the town centre. We had dinner and it was good. We ordered Riojas and were dissapointed at how expensive it was per glass. That being said it was delicious. Breakfast was nice served...

We booked the Soprano on a 5pm deal for Friday 31st March. The service was first class from check in and throughout our stay. The spacious room we were allocated had a beautiful view of the harbour. The evening meal was lovely and our waiter was exceptional going the extra mile, even although he was extremely busy. The breakfast was...

We attended following a gift voucher being given to us for Christmas and will not be returning. Menu is very basic and staff do not seem well trained. People constantly walking through the restaurant. Food was oily looking and just poor quality. Asked for an alternative to their "handcut" chips such as boiled potatoes and was told that the only...

Having read a few of the less enthusiastic reviews of this hotel I'm sorry to say that the authors must have a skewed view on life. The fun and quirky theme of this place is apparent from the minute you enter, thanks to the decor. Every member of staff I met during my 3 day stay was as polite and...

On arrival it was very confusing as to where the entrance for the hotel was. Turned out to be the entrance for the bar/restaurant which you had to walk through to gain access to the stairs/ rooms. It is not wheelchair or pram friendly. When cheeking in we where made to squeeze in behind the bar fount door. I'm so...

Booked a room last minute as I needed to be near the station. As I've used the restaurant and bar several times and loved it I assumed the rooms would be ok. After a speedy check in with a lovely member of staff I was directed to my room. As soon as I walked in I was hit with a...
