great stay, unfortunate about the all night bakery across the road, but clean, efficient, good staff, and as we learned, Dog friendly, which we only learned later, would stay here again for sure, if youu need peace and quiet to sleep ask for a room at the back

Many thanks for your review chastity-floozie (loving the username!) Glad to see you enjoyed your stay and yes, we are happy to accept well behaved dogs in all but the public areas of the hotel. The all night bakery is a bit of a double-edged sword; on the one hand it's nice to have easy access to fresh baked pastries...

We got a great price for a weekend night at this property. I found the staff very friendly and helpful. I wasn't expecting the car park machines would only accept coins but fortunately the hotel staff were able to give change.

Great location on Chapel street so close to union street and all of the city centre. The hotel is brightly lit and easy to find. As all the 10 parking spaces were taken we parked in the council car park at the end of the street free until 1pm on a Sunday. The rooms were basic but clean and had...

We had no complaints about the cleanliness of the room but it was absolutely sweltering hot and the window would only open a few inches. There was no fan. Also, the room was above a generator of some sort and it was pretty noisy. On arrival the staff were unhelpful. The information was on the basis that one had to...

Thanks for your review Pat T We are planning to install air conditioning when the hotel undergoes a refurbishment in the not too distant future. This will certainly solve the problem you experienced with the heat. I'm not sure exactly what caused the noise you experienced as we don't have any generators but I will nonehteless ask our maintenance engineer...

This hotel is conveniently located on a street next to Union Street which made going out in the evening very easy. The room was very comfy and the staff were helpful. There was a small selection to choose from at breakfast. There is also a 24 hour bakery right across the road from the hotel which can come in handy.

My minimum requirements are parking (because of mobility issues) and gud if I can get WIFI and brekky. Wifi was fine - parking difficult at best - this is a reasonably large property and there is only about 8-10 places. I require a disabled place and whilst there are 2 - both were taken.. one left within minutes of me...

Thanks for your review SDDarwin Parking is indeed very limited at the hotel but we are lucky to have a large multi-storey facility just 100 yards up the road. As you may have noticed, our 2 accessible parking spaces are kept locked and only available on request. There are occasions from time to time when guests genuinely need them but...

Considering the price of hotels in Aberdeen this is a decent basic hotel. Its clean the staff are nice enough and its one of the cheaper places to book. I recommend booking in advance as hotel rooms book up fast if alot of oil workers stranded are in town due to bad flying conditions.

Holiday Inn Express, Aberdeen is nicely located close to the centre of Aberdeen. The lobby and reception are staffed by well turned out courteous staff but ultimately the hotel feels like what it is - budget. The rooms are clean (though the carpet in mine had seen better days) with no frills, only complaint being the wafer thin walls meaning...

This Holiday Inn Express is of a very high standard. The rooms are clean and very well appointed, with a great internet connection.
