Stayed at the royal crown for one night.Room was good for the price, nice full breakfast served early.Short walk into Aberdeen city centre with a vast array of pubs and restaurants to choose from.Only down side was the shared bathroom/shower,it wasn't a big issue as I was only there for the one night, but for £40.00 in a city centre can't really...

Spent a night here. Room was very clean & comfortable. Tea-making facilities & TV. Shower worked great. Free WiFi. Breakfast was good too - simple cooked breakfast, toast, cereals. Owners were friendly especially Scott who was great to chat to. 2 minutes walk from Union Street.

Can't agree with comments from previous reviewers about cold rooms and water. I stayed in Room 4 for three nights and while it isn't the biggest room in the world, it was comfortable and warm, and the shower was fine. There is a television in the room and tea/coffee making facilities, though not a wide range of channels. From what...

The location is excellent, right in the centre where the train station is 5 minutes walk, shopping centres few minutes away, bust stops just outside the hotel. Rooms vary in size. My room was very small and I could not move in it. Other rooms are reasonable with ensuite facilities. There is hot breakfast every working day but not at...

For being 70 pounds per night it is far from good, half breakfasts (egg beans and bacon) no breakfast at weekends, rooms are freezing and hot water in rooms isnt very hot, other than that service is good, great location, handy to union street less than 500 yards walk

I stayed in an en-suite room which was priced at £74 per night. In my view it wasn't worth £40 per night. What was worse still was the room was bloody cold and when I called to get the proprietor to turn on the heating it was switched off a hour later. When I called to ask if the heating...

I stayed at this guest house for 1night due to travelling offshore the following morning. I phoned at the last minute to book a room and the owner was very helpful. On arrival I was checked in quickly and shown to my room. I stayed in a family room which had a very nice bathroom and a single and double...

The room was so cold. The heater was down during the day so the temperature in the room was around 15 degc during the afternoon and there was no heater in the bathroom (perfect to start a day with a good shower!) When I asked to have some degrees more the owner answered me that it was too expensive... The...
