Have a booking for 2 week's time. No reply to emails but finally a reply to a text to say that they are closed for good. Might still be accepting bookings though. Very little information provided and no refund for the 2 nights booked.

I was due to travel to Derry from London and stay at No 8 this weekend. But the the Horslips gigs (on Sat & Sun) I was due to attend were canceled. I had booked through 'Booking.com' but by the time I found out it was too late to cancel my accommodation which ment I would forfeit the cost of the two nights. I phoned and spoke with Kieran the manager and after I explained my situation he kindly canceled my booking without charge. I did try to rebook with Kieran for December when the Horslips gigs have been rescheduled but unfortunately all his rooms where already booked out. As a frequent visitor to Derry I will definitely make it my business to stay at No 8 whenever I get the chance.

Fab stay, great location, very friendly and helpful host - was just perfect for my needs thank you. Very close to the Airporter bus drop off and to everything else you might want to see and do in Derry. Will definitely return. 😊

A lovely place, located literally on the City Walls and all the stories they could tell: turn left for town or right for The Fountain and The Bogside. Really friendly, engaging host who gave lots of insights into all that has been Derry.

Modern, comfortable accommodation very central to the town and all of its facilities. Chatty, friendly owner who aims to give each guest his personal attention. A warm, cosy little room in which everything worked. Help-yourself continental style breakfast. Free wi-fi which worked fine and was fast enough for anything I wanted. Somewhere between a B&B and a homestay. One would have to nit-pick to find negative things to say but people need to see negatives to make a balanced choice. In that spirit, the single room I had was very small, the TV was so high on the wall that the program guide page couldn't be read and some of the photos on the website need updating.
