Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Just fabulous! I felt like I was in a luxury five star. However, at Brewers Fayre the barmaid said back in London where I'm from we have awful drinks, and then served me a Guinness with a 2mm head. She was a lovely girl, though, so all OK.

Hotel's Favourite
Stayed 2 nights here and found it great, about 5 mins in the car from the city but far enough away for a relaxing nights sleep. Beds where very comfy, room was clean, staff where friendly. My only complaint and it is very small and more a personal thing was that in the restaurant the battered fish had the skin still on it so I had to pick that off, never had skin left on a battered fish before and had I have known this I might have opted for something else, this is just me personally however and it was easy enough picked off, food was good for the the price and drinks where very well priced, a bit of a weatherspoons concept, however I would say food was slightly better. Overall for the price i couldn’t complain. Hotel felt very safe and all staff where very nice, we enjoyed our stay and would defiantly return in the future.

Place was a good 15 mins to walk and a 30 minute walk into the city itself. Food was lovely and service was excellent. Room was adequate but unable to open window(got the impression this is throughout) Stayed Friday and Saturday and didn't sleep on Friday (nothing to do with the room but the party above us who must have walked backwards and forwards the whole night). eventually had to go to reception and complain.

Lovely friendly place. Service in restaurant and hotel was excellent. Good quality was excellent - room was perfect for family of 5 (2 adults, 7,4&1 yr old). Highly recommend Little out of town but fine for us.

bar closed at 10.15, no room service and too far out of town to return to it. Excellent and helpful staff for the main, apart from the barstaff who would not even let us have a drink for the room even though they closed the bar at 10.15 pm, we thought residents should be permitted this as a matter of form.

The family rooms are very cramped. Air conditioning would not go below 19° limited food options and breakfast serving was running late. Positively staff very friendly, clean environment with good parking. Easily accessible to the city.

Many people already know what Premier Inn hotels are like, I won't elaborate, except to say the Derry Premier Inn is up to the usual high standard. We stayed in a family room as a family of four and had no issues at all. Breakfast at the adjacent diner was also fantastic, buffet offering of cooked breakfast and continental. It is located a couple of miles east of the walled centre of Derry city, ideal location for a visit.

Booked this hotel for one night as a base for exploring Derry and Wild Ireland. I was pleasantly surprised as it was brilliant value! The location was perfect, rooms were spotlessly clean with extremely comfy beds and pillows. The food was excellent and the free parking was great to have. The staff were all so friendly and helpful, will definitely be booking again! Highly recommended.

Spent 3 nights at the Premier Inn recently - on a positive note the bedroom was clean and the staff were friendly. The car park had plenty spaces. The hotel is advertised as being a short stroll across the peace bridge - it’s at least a 40 minute walk. The shower is in the bath so not suitable for elderly people. The free WiFi is very poor but they offer a superior service at five pounds per day. The key cards failed to work on several occasions and I had to go back down to reception to have them recoded so that I could get into my room. The restaurant was ok but some dishes on the menu were not available.
