The rooms are a bit on the smaller side, but they were clean. The Location is perfect, just a few minutes walk away from the City centre. The breakfast was huge! There were homemade jams and marmalade, homemade yoghurt and fresh fruits! Excellent!

I am still dreaming about the breakfasts at Saddlers House. Joan made French press coffee for us each morning and her homemade marmalade was outstanding (she said the Smuckers brand I grew up with was "embarrassing"). Add that to perfectly cooked poached eggs, sausages, mushrooms and tomato and I was in heaven. I also loved talking to Joan and she...

A charming B&B in an old Georgian building easy walking distance from town centre. Peter and Joan are very welcoming and helpful. Excellent facilities including tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Everything was very clean and the room was warm. Breakfast is cooked to order and plentiful including eggs and bacon, toast, fruit, yogurt, cheeses and cereal. Would...

The room was lovely in a Georgian styled house, very spacious and clean. It was in a great location within walking distance of city centre and quiet at the same time. Had lovely breakfast each morning, kitchen staff were very friendly as was Peter. Joan on the other hand must have been in bad form as we found her to...

As with most B&B's for me, EXPERIENCE far outweighs my accommodations, at least if the accommodations are clean. Our room was TINY, but managed to squeeze in a bathroom and a closet that accommodated 3 hangers. But, Oh, the EXPERIENCES! The Saddler's House is arranged a bit like a row house. We entered into a little reception area. Steps down...

The facility is well situated a few blocks from the main tourist areas. As others have mentioned, the rooms are smaller and the bathrooms are the smallest we have experienced during our travels in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. Breakfasts are cooked to order and Joan oversees the breakfast to everyone's satisfaction.

My friend and I were given a small room with two beds and an ensuite bath facing the street. The room was clean if a little stuffy. Opening the window helped some but with no screen, a few flies and moths also came in. There was also some noise from the street but fortunately, it didn't last long. The ensuite...

What a wonderful location in this most interesting of towns. Joan as soon as I got talking to her felt she was my friend. She and Peter are a most gracious couple. If you want a bland modern room then this is not for you. We had a smallish room with a tiny ensure but quite adequate for our overnight...

We stayed two nights having struggled to get anywhere that was convenient to the centre. We booked this more by accident. The room was small but fine for us. The most wonderful thing for us was the convenience and breakfast. Long may those continue, and I might try to do the apple dish at home. The hosts were very friendly...

I booked this for our daughter. From the moment I spoke with Peter I was reassured that it was a good choice. The B&B is very central and was full of original features. Our daughter was unwell during her visit and Peter and Joan could not have been kinder. It felt like staying with family.
