I booked a weeks stay at the Waterfoot Hotel and it was an excellent decision. Safe parking for the bike, spacious clean room with fridge, tea and coffee, water and biscuits. Clean bathroom with large shower and comfy beds. Conor on reception was most helpful and welcoming, nothing too much trouble wether you referring a cab or answering queries. Martin in the Snug Bar was friendly and helpful and made it feel like a local when getting back in the evening. Loved my stay and I will return. Highly recommended.

Visited on a Friday evening with my grandchildren. The staff were friendly but not intrusive and the meal was excellent and reasonably priced. Would highly recommend to anyone for any occasion. Will make a return visit soon

Sung bar was very cosey and welcoming Martin the barman was very pleasant and attentive to our needs. He was also very knowledgeable about the city and tourist attractions. He made us feel part of the company at all times in the bar and introduced us to local residents of the bar who made us feel 100 percent comfortable. We had a lot of laughs it was the best crack all due to the main barman Martin. We enjoyed our time in the bar so much that we will definately return and recommend to our friends. Thanks again to Waterfoot and especially Martin the barman!!!!!

Popped into the snug where we enjoyed dinner and a few drinks. Martin was very welcoming and attended to our every need all night long despite being very busy with a larger group and several other couples and visitors there. He learned our names and was so pleasant and friendly all evening. We will definitely be back to enjoy a vwry relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.

Almost everytime I visit Derry I make a trip to the waterfoot, beautiful hotel with a lovely snug bar. Whether for a meal, a drink with friends, or even a wedding, I've never had a bad time - mainly due to the excellent service from the staff, especially Martin and Paddy. Always felt very welcomed and looked after, I can't wait for my next visit!

My wife and I had a brilliant stay at the Waterfoot back in April. Rooms were clean and comfortable and food was delicious - so much choice! The snug bar had very homely feel and Martin and Paddy kept us fed and watered very well. Would definitely recommend!

The Snug is the best bar. Marty and Paddy make the place. They couldn't do enough for you! Always go above and beyond. We got married in the hotel in September and every guest mentioned them and loved them.
