My husband & I stayed in the River Mill for two days as an anniversary breakaway. The directions given by the site were very easy to follow & lead us straight to this beautifully restored mill. The location is ideal to explore this very scenic area with the lovely national trust property, Castle Ward, picturesque Strangford,Clochy Nature reserve, Ardglass,Coney Island...

My husband, 14-month old daughter, and I stayed here last week while heading north from Dublin to Giant's Causeway. The location was a bit "off-the-beaten-path," but once found, was very easy to get to again on our way back from dinner. Theresa & Aiden were fantastic hosts, and cooked an awesome Irish Breakfast for us! They were very loving towards...

Myself and my partner were taking a night off from being parents and wanted somewhere to enjoy some well earned peace and quiet and that's exactly what we got. I've rarely stayed anywhere more peaceful (and pitch black too, not a street light in sight!!). Theresa and Aidan were great and made us feel very welcome and also offered to...

This is a really lovely conversion from an old stone mill to modern house in a beautiful location - very quiet and really dark at night so that you can see the stars. Lovely welcome from Aiden and Theresa with tea on arrival and a great breakfast.

We stayed at the River Mill Bed and Breakfast for two glorious nights in September 2011 and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. This B&B has all the bells and whistles of a 5-star establishment and much, much more. It has only recently been renovated (from the ground up!) and we enjoyed all the mod-cons new accommodation provides including luxurious ensuite bathrooms...

My wife and I, along with another couple, just completed a trip to Ireland. Of the six Band Bs that we stayed in, this was the best. It is an old mill, part built in 1712, I think, and part in 1847. The place was recently gutted and completely redone. Everything inside is very modern and sleek. Aiden and Theresa...

Not the easiest place to find using Sat Nav, but well worth the find. Great hosts and terrific breakfast. Lovely conversion by the owners of what was once a wreck - they have done a great job and produced an extremely smart and comfortable home and B&B. Hot water is heated by ground heat so shower is an acquired skill!...

Our family of 5 recently visited Ireland and stayed near the lovely seaside village or Ardglass, near Down Patrick (fun museum and St. Patrick's grave in Downpatrick). Theresa & Aidan were the bests of hosts. The orignal exterior with the brand new interior was top notch. Their kind welcome and warm ways made our stay a delight. The rooms were all perfect. The breakfast was delicious. Wait until you see the size of the shower, unbelievable. Absolutley a grand home to go and enjoy.

“We only saw one room but it was very large with a large wetroom. There was a side door which meant we could come and go without going through the main house which was very good. As the property has been completely renovated I would imagine all rooms would be similar.”
