I totally love the Armagh City Hotel. The food is excellent, staff are so friendly. Me and my husband were so impressed with the service from years back that we book this hotel for our wedding reception in 2009. We have been going back for anniversaries, birthdays and date nights ever since. Fantastic place

Had lunch which was over priced and tired. €39 for lunch for two which consisted of a greasy tough chicken Maryland & a very tired reheated lasagne with chips. I had to pat the chicken with my napkin to soak up the excess oil. The chips were good as was the champ that came with the chicken. The bottled still...

Stayed at The City Hotel Armagh for Easter. Excellent location close to shops and other attractions. Considerable amount of car parking with a number of disabled parking spaces close to reception. Check in was quick and professional. The room was spacious clean , tidy and well equipped. Food of a good standard available throughout the day. The reception , coffee...

Attended a weekend conference here, so two nights B&B, supper on Friday night and five course dinner on Saturday night, plus lunch and splendid tea and coffee breaks, with substantial homemade shortbread biscuits. The Ulster Fry is legendary, and there is nothing omitted from it in this hotel. Excellent quality black and white pudding, large juicy sausages, crisp rashers, and...

Stated for a long weekend to visit family in Armagh. We have stayed in self catering holiday homes, but the difference in price was negligible so we opted for City Hotel. We were not disappointed, we got a lovely large room with king size bed and a single (we had booked a family room but at other hotels this often...

Spent a weekend here in February and overall a great experience. Staff very good. Room good. Food in restaurant excellent as well as good breakfast. The only complaint would be the very limited access to the pool area. If it's not shut to residents entirely then you are limited to one lane of pool which is very small. Not ideal...
