I stayed here for 2 nights. Now I actually dislike the whole B&B “thing”; the hushed breakfasts, mini-kettles that take an hour to boil, unfamiliar shower thermostat settings, and “how do you switch off/on the bloody light above the bed” conundrum. But actually Maureen who owns and runs this place is fabulously friendly. Some people seem born to work in...

Maureen is charming, friendly and makes you feel at home even before you have walked in the door. Great family room with 3 beds. Minutes away from St. Patrick’s and Navan Fort. Lots of choices for breakfast including 'healthy' options although we went for the 'full Irish'.

We stayed one night at Fairylands Country House and I was sorry to go. We were traveling with 2 small children (ages 2 and 5) and Maureen made them so welcome. She had toys set out in the family room area that they could play with, made sure the sleeping accommodations were suitable and served a delicious, hot breakfast! The...

Four us were braving the Autumn storm and were really, really happy to meet Maureen. It was raining hard, the wind was whistling through the trees, we were tired and ready to take a break. We were lead to spacious rooms, given good directions on places to eat and were treated to happy smiles when we asked if we could...

Had a fantastic stay, very relaxing and a home away from home. Maureen treated us superbly. Everything was of the highest quality, from the size and cleanliness of our room to the food to the use of the lounge in the evenings with the huge collections of dvds and games to keep old and young alike well entertained. Will def...

My extended family of 12 had a wonderful time at Fairylands. Maureen, the proprietor, is top notch. Her food is delicious and she strives to make her guests' stay pleasant and relaxing. We enjoyed walking on the country lanes near the B&B. Navan, a short walk up the road, is not to be missed.

The owners Francis and Maureen treated us like family. Beautiful home, large rooms with a pretty view of the country. Hope to return again. We arrived late in the evening and were greeted with a cup of tea and a warm welcoming.
