If I could put a minus rating I would. I was up with family for my sisters memorial mass and, having spent alot of our childhood in Ballycastle, we naturally went to the Marine after mass for food and drinks. Not only did it take a while for our drinks to come but after an hour and a half waiting...

Called in for coffee on my Birthday with my daughters visiting me from London. Waited to be served at Costa coffee bar, while all staff on the floor stood in a circle talking at the main reception in full view of my daughter waiting. After waiting for more than a reasonable time to be served myself and my daughters got...

Dear BL242014 Our sincere apologies that you were not looked after during your recent visit to the Marine. I was one of the members of staff that was at the reception desk discussing our arrivals with the receptionist and unfortunately had my back to Costa and as such was unaware that you were waiting to be served. The young lady...

Had an excellent lunch here, with friends, we all chose differently from the menu, and all had first class food, very pleasant surroundings and first class service at a good price, made it a very enjoyable visit.

During our visit around the antrim coast, we stopped at the marine hotel for coffee. The staff were so friendly, I just wanted to check in immediately. The Reception, toilets were immaculate. I picked up details of their deals and I definitely will be back. The staff were first class.

Our room was lovely, quite spacious and very clean. The bathroom was up to a good standard and again very clean. If you are a tv fan , the tv was very small, but most people don't spend too much time in their rooms anyway. Food in the Bistro was very good, we actually ate there both nights. We really...

Had always wanted to go to Rathlin Island and when I spotted Groupon offer for a Sunday night B&B at the Marine Hotel it seemed the ideal opportunity. Check in is 3pm. We arrived at 1pm and asked if we could leave the car in the hotel car park. The delightful girl in the reception immediately said yes and even...

As a couple we had a very enjoyable weekend at the Marine Hotel. The hotel is very well maintained, our room was a family room with bunk beds and a view of the ocean. The room was clean and comfortable with a lovely ensuite bathroom. We enjoyed a couple of nights in the hotel bar and there was a girl...

Call into the hotel and was offered lunch in the bar or a lite nite at a Costa's coffee bar at front of house. Went for lunch in the bar. Service was immediate with a helpful server. No complaints about service or food. Would call again

Had a lovely carvery today in the Marine. Starters and desserts are selected off a menu choice of 4 or 5. Quick friendly service. Food was excellent. The main course was carvery style with roast beef and Yorkshire puddings , Turkey and ham. Potatoes, roast potatoes, fresh vegetables, gravy and also pepper sauce. Kids also had good selection and good...
