Visited here on a sunday at 6pm wasn't very busy but 2x group tables landed after us (me +partner only). After waiting 20 mins for order to be taken. ... of which the 2 groups had their orders taken 1st!! ... food took 45mins to come as evry1else was served before us!! .... Most infuriating!

My husband and I went here for two nights in March. We had a front room. Was lovely view. Food was really good. The staff was all very friendly and helpful. The room was on offer that month for £29 which was very cheap. Our daughter and her husband and family came down on the second night. We all had...

Tasty food and friendly atmosphere. The Guinness stew was perfect and the dip for the chicken strips was also very good! Ask for the best whiskey they have and they will give it to you! I can't say enough good things about this place.

The hotel did not work for us as for two days in spite of the staff's efforts we did not have hot water in the shower (even after they changed our room). Plus, there is no wifi proper: you need to literally sit on the bar with your computer if you want to do some work, which we unfortunately had...

We stopped in here for a wee bite to eat for lunch, and we very pleasantly surprised. The food was fab (chicken goujons are rarely very good anywhere, but they were excellent here!!) and the staff were super friendly and helpful (providing us with a map of the area as we were a bit lost and didn't have phone signal)....

Was brought here by my friend as a birthday treat and I have to say the room was lovely, basic but lovely. Staff were very friendly. Food was excellent and great value for money. Breakfast next morning was fantastic with so much variety. Only downside was we went mid week and it was very quiet. Would return again.
