We went along to the drag brunch in the hotel with a couple of friends. Well what a fantastic afternoon had by all. The hotel is gorgeous, the staff were all so welcoming and friendly, the drag brunch was beyond words. Great afternoons craic, so funny, such great performers that really did put on a first class show. And what a bonus when the amazing hotel staff took to the stage as well! This was a great afternoon out, could not recommend it enough and will definitely be back!
So staff fabulous lovely hotel it looks fab the decor but dirty carpet on the stairs ..very hot hotel with no air breakfast just okay wouldn’t recommend..I wouldn’t stay again plus at 7.30 we had major banging from a delivery man delivering barrels of beer it was awful lasted sooo long we closed the window but then it was boiling no water in the rooms either had to drink tap water but staff did bring up water promptly so just a few let downs but nothing major to complain about
Drag has never been my thing or appealed to me but omg what an afternoon out this was! Complete entertainment 😍. The queens were on point and put on such a good show! I can officially say I’m a fan of drag now after attending the balmoral hotel. Thanks so much for an amazing afternoon 😎
Best day out ever! I attended a Drag Bruch event today at the Balmoral Jotel Belfast. I have to say it was fabulous from the outset. The decor, seating, the hotel staff were excellent and the seating and brush served was great. The show itself was fabulous and I advise anyone to try this event even once! You would not be disappointed! Great craic altogether!
The drag show at The Balmoral was absolutely fantastic. Lovely venue and a great days craic. Big shout out to Damian and all the staff on for the event, some even put on a couple of performances during intermission. Great to see the staff supported like that. All round great place.
Brilliant show great craic and daimen the main man lol was very helpful when we needed a favour🤫🤫🤣 fantastic day out with family and friends and those drag queens were amazing haven't laughed that much in a long time, thanks again for a brilliant day xx
Great service from a professional team of individuals as usual. Had the steak night meal deal and desserts. Very high standard of food and service. Will be back again soon for more. A mid week pleasure I have no hessitation to recommend. First class. A+++
We had our wedding here on the 27th may 22 and from we booked until the actual day nothing was too much trouble..our gorgeous wedding planner fionnoula went above and beyond to make sure it was perfect...family were coming over from England and months beforehand rooms were put aside for them I really can't thank Fionnuala and the hotel enough for making our day amazing and special 😀 😊 ❤
After phoning the receptionist I booked a room a superior room for what I believe was £90 including breakfast , it was a Thursday evening and I decided to stay slightly outside the city as it was close to where I was attending a friend’s funeral the next morning and wanted to be fresh with no travelling so the balmoral was some what ideal or so I thought. I checked in with the receptionist room 54 to be precise, I made my way up the stairs to my room and decided to watch some tv til I went for my dinner later that evening. I could not find a remote for the tv anywhere , so I decided to call the receptionist, but the phone in my room didn’t work so I used my mobile phone to call the hotel to get another remote brought up , and to be honest she the receptionist did come up with another but it didn’t work either, I decided to use my tablet to watch some bbc iPlayer, but I couldn’t get Wi-Fi and when I did it just froze again . I gave up and went to dinner as there was a steak night on in the lady Anne grill bar on the bottom floor , a nice dark haired lady sat me down and I ordered I must say she new her job so well I ordered starter , main , and desert and must complement this lady for turning what I thought was going to be a disaster into a pleasant experience, and I highly recommend this restaurant. I got back to my room and it was early luckily I had a news paper to read , I tried to sleep but the noise of my neighbours tv was so loud I decided to listen to their tv well into the early hours . I got up early and passed reception and was told I would get 20% of my bill , I continued to breakfast which was ok again I can’t fault the staff . I put this terrible experience I had down to bad management of the highest level as a general manager they should know every room what is wrong with them from their staff lack of communication, I dread to think what the rest of the rooms are like . My room tiles in shower grout where missing and the drains smell terrible, the carpets all over the hotel are sticky Iam sure the manager has eyes and a sense of smell , a little bit of training could go a long way in this hotel , because your floor staff are excellent, and in these times I’d advise you to hold on to nice staff. I always say would I stay here again , no never again…
We hired one of the function rooms for our daughters Holy Communion Party on the 14th May. The room was beautiful, the staff were excellent and we were very overwhelmed with our extra surprise. We stayed over that evening, excellent room and delicious breakfast. In fact we love it that much we have been part of their furniture for the past 17 years as we live across the road. The hotel is go to and our wee local and we love it. Special mention to our Damian ❤️ legend and all the beautiful staff ❤️ #teambalmoral
