This was my second visit to Belfast Central Travelodge. Since my last visit, 6 years ago, work has been done to maintain and modernise the property. Recepception staff were friendly and welcoming and of course it is a very central location. Slightly disappointed that breakfast was not available on site but very glad I came back here.
Worst hotel I have stayed in. Whole building in very poor condition and needs total renovation. Rooms, corridors and carpets are very dirty and smell awful. Rooms not cleaned properly, if at all. AVOID
We had to book a room here as our flight had been cancelled at the last minute by B.A. We were on the 6th floor but only managed a couple of hours sleep owing to the three bars nearby being open and playing loud music until at least 2 a.m.
Room very basic and small .very noisy fan when window was opened, stain on room carpet , Very central to Belfast city Center. Room price was very good at short notice£109 ,ideal for a place to move on from on a early start only 200 meters from bus and train station ( Eroupa)
Issue with room key. You have to turn the key twice then push at the door very strange way to enter a hotel room or even any room. The room we stayed in was very small, with paper thin walls. We could hear conversation from the people in the next room.
This hotel is in need of modernisation. The curtains were stained, carpets Ill fitted, doors and walls warped with water damage, roof stained. For £180, very very poor value for money, would definitely advise to avoid. Will never stay again!
Lovely hotel in the central Belfast. Fast friendly check in. Lovely large room. Which had everything you'd expect in a decent hotel. The state of the crapet was definitely the worst I've ever seen in a hotel room. Carpet was bady stained and rising up. Basically it made the room look so shabby. Also none of the Irish channels on the television !
Avoid this place at all costs. Completely run down. The carpets were well worn and stained with God knows what. Not once during my stay did housekeeping 'visit' my room and I had to keep the same towels throughout, depite me raising the numerous issues with reception staff.
centrally located within a short walking from the bus station and the city centre, shops and pubs. Good value for money and suitable for business travel - work desk area in the room. the upper level rooms may have issues with water pressure. If keeping windows open too noisy from the nearby pubs and open terrace restaurants.
