Stayed for two nights Saturday/Sunday and the hotel is in a good location for restaurants and the train station. The welcome was very warm and that was an ongoing theme with all the staff. Breakfast was really good and introduced my husband to the concept of the “porridge starter” as after choosing porridge he was also then offered the full Irish to follow!!!! Only issue was how much street noise there was. We had rooms facing into the road and both nights there was a lot of party noise. Loud music, shouting and argue menus into the early hours. Overall though a good stay
We stayed in a deluxe double. The room was clean, spacious and the bed was very comfortable. It a quiet place to stay - no hen parties allowed! Convenient location with secure off-street parking. The staff were all lovely and so helpful.
Overall great. Cozy hotel. Quiet neighborhood. Restaurant streeet very close. Easy 15' walk to the center. Very friendly staff. Wonderful breakfast. You feel at home. THisis all I can say but have to fill the 200 characters. ;-)
Stayed for one night early August. The hotel is in a lovely area, being quieter and with a nicer selection of eateries than we found in the city centre. The centre is easily walkable in around 15-20 minutes. The botanic gardens are very near and worth a visit (no entry fee). Hotel parking was a big bonus - we arrived early so not sure how quickly the car park gets full though. Reception staff extremely friendly and helpful. Room well equipped although we found ours to be on the warm side and had to open windows to moderate. Breakfast excellent too. Would return here if staying in Belfast again.
We stayed at Tara Lodge near the end of our 16 day trip to Ireland. It was delightful! The staff was friendly and helpful and our room was spacious and spotless. It had many thoughtful amenities, like washcloths, good lighting, and mirrors near outlets for using the hairdryer. The location is very good, near many restaurants and Queens University (where we walked through the botanical gardens) and the hotel has free parking behind the hotel.
A pleasant stay. The area the hotel is in quiet but still within a reasonable walking distance of the city and/or a train station. Room was clean, comfortable and spacious. The only slight gripe we had was being right next to the lift, which clearly needs servicing. The breakfast is cooked to order and delicious. The restaurant are flexible with hot options.
Breakfast is excellent and the hotel is very well located close to the botanical gardens and 15 min walk from city center. Awsome staff. The free parking is very convenient. I highly recommend if you want to stay in Belfast
5 night stay at this hotel. Could not complain about anything at all. Staff super friendly and happy to help with any requests. Situated in a quiet street but close enough to walk to the city centre. Shops and stores close by plus pubs and eating areas. Great breakfast was included and all the staff were super friendly and happy to have a conversation and banter Definitely happy to stay again
I would recommend a stay at Tara Lodge. The staff were exceptional, very helpful and friendly, very welcoming. The room was clean, beds so comfy, I had a great nights sleep. Breakfast in the morning was delicious, I will definitely return if in Belfast again.
Really accommodating staff, I brought an extra child at last minute and they arranged for an extra bed for the room, the staff were polite and attentive, rooms are lovely and clean and very comfortable and the morning breakfast was really tasty, very happy we chose Tara Lodge 🥇
