We stayed at the Avenue Guest House recently for three nights. Alice & Steven are lovely hosts, friendly & helpful. The bedroom was very comfortable and warm. The breakfast each morning was delicious with plenty of choice. We found the location perfect for us with the city bus just five minutes away. The local restaurants are absolutely excellent we have... More

Sorry we don't agree with the reviews stating how wonderful this b and b is. It is dated very old spring beds and shabby furniture we couldn't understand why it's four star. The parking is on the road no car park that we could see. Not an irish breakfast poor quality sausage and no wheat bread or potato bread, we... More

We stayed at the Avenue Guest House B&B for two nights. Upon our arrival we got a message about a minor emergency back home and Steven was so supportive and kind. Our room was extremely clean and comfortable and the breakfasts were excellent. On the first morning my husband feasted on the Full Irish and I had the smoked salmon... More

The Avenue Guest House is a terrific location in a neighborhood near but not in downtown Belfast. Downtown is a 5 minute drive (non-rush hour) and probably even within walking distance. Very much a lived-in neighborhood with lots of food options.

I couldn't be happier with my stay here - very comfy and absolutely spotless, with a lovely breakfast in the morning. The proprietors are especially welcoming and friendly. There are also some nice additional touches here - mini fridges in each room are a great feature in terms of keeping pop cold when you need to stay up until the... More

I especially loved the chocolate they left for me in the room!! I felt like a princess. The breakfast is excellent and you can choose... More

So lovely to be a grown up ( Ok I am a senior) and have someone totally look after your needs. Cabs booked, sightseeing booked, coffee put in your hand if you missed breakfast ( Lovely, delicious, and varied if you bother to get up). All in a friendly, clean and cozy home, in a good location and all the... More

I’ve visited Belfast every summer since 2001 and have stayed at several different hotels and B&Bs around town, but the Avenue House, owned and operated by Alice and Steven, is my favourite, and the only place where I now stay when in Belfast. Located in a quiet, leafy neighbourhood not far from Queen’s University as well as shops, restaurants, and... More
